Well I don't always agree with every analysis, but it can add a perspective to the game that you didn't think of yourself, which can be nice. But yeah, MGS2 in general is really underrated, so it's always good to see people who appreciate it. |

Just wanted to come here to share something I've been working on. For about 2 weeks now this went from sculpt, to mold, to what you see here which will become a wearable resin casting. This one is for a customer, but I'll be making the helmets with electronics so they will be functional for opening and closing the faceplates. The red stuff you see on the casting is just left over clay residue. I hope you guys like it. |

I'll be selling raw casts on eBay soon, have'nt decided yet on a price for sure, but maybe for $100. With MGS5 coming out in the future, and Revengence coming soon as well, the castings should be a hit. When I get the electronics in the mail, I'll get them installed and put up some kind of video. It'll mainly be powered by a ardunio uno and 4 servos, one for each of the lower faceplates and 2 for the top part. I already have the programming code to make it all work. The two lower faceplates will open together, the top one will have a 0.5 second delay set on it so that way the parts don't get jammed.

Yes a raw casting is just a plastic casting fresh out of the mold. The photo above was the first cast I pulled and I've pulled 3 more since that one. All 3 of those have come out clean. That's the great part about the first casting it pulls out all the clay residue when it comes out of the mold. |
