The game can list some dog tags that are inaccessible to you at the time being, like the last guard left on Big Shell is listed as being 1 left before you head off to the harrier, that's nothing you can do anything about until later in the game at least if I remember right It can be a bit tricky to get your mind around but as long as you explore all areas before you head off to the harrier battle you should be fine, I don't remember what areas specifically but some connecting bridges will have new guards added to them, one where there at some point was only one guy, will later add another one which you'll have to go grab, but yeah the dog tag menu should help you with that since it shows you what you've collected and what you haven't It's a god damn relief that by the time you get to Hard and Extreme for collecting these, you've already unlocked Stealth camo so that makes it less of a hassle to go around collecting all the ones on the harder difficulties |

Yup, There is one in the pump room that wasn't there before. And a ton more on the bridges. I think I've got this sorted. About to do easy mode, only one extra tag on this one. I have to destroy 15 cameras, complete the game with dog tags four more times. and complete all the vr missions. Oh and snake tales 0.0 AND THEN! I'm gonna complete mgs3 without killing anyone, getting all the uniform, facepaint and shooting all the kerotons. Thats a lot of collection for one playthrough 0.0 I'm bound to forget some on the way. I have found a trophy guide with all the locations and such, but they are all in seperate lists. I'll have to make myself one big super list! With all the stuff in order. I have to do all this by saturday, so I'm gonna have to collect all the mgs3 trophies in one playthrough. Think It's possible? Crap, i also have to kill the end before the boss battle, I'll have to save just beforehand, kill him, end the game and load the save. This is gonna be complicated. Btw, earlier on i realized that after the harrier you only needed 8 more to collect. This would mean i needed 35 before going into the harrier battle. And i only had 31, so i did a whole search of shell 1 again till i got 35. Just thought you should know how i solved that predicament. Edited by gamerstation151, Aug 6 2012, 07:59 PM.

I think that patch also added a couple more of those random TV shows to the beginning of MGS4. |

I am starting to hype up over these trophies. Cartman! How did you survive solidus's choke hold on extreme? I normally use the spoon technique 0.o I'm on hard now, and strut E is decked out with three cameras, and an extra guard. 0.0 Edited by gamerstation151, Aug 8 2012, 12:26 AM.

Guys, it's done. I was up at 5 this morning killing rays, took me six hours for that boss. And an extra hour for Solidus 500 VR missions...Screw it. Thats it. No way i can do that super duper mgs3 walkthrough AND vr missions before Saturday. Edited by gamerstation151, Aug 9 2012, 05:30 PM.

Congratulations for beating MGS2 on extreme!! that is no easy feat by any measure. As for the VR, the only one's i think you would have trouble with are the MGS1 Snake missions. Check out Youtube video guides for help if you decide to go through with it. Personally, the missions i had the most trouble with were the MGS1 Snake Grenade, and Hold up missions, and they are only difficult because throwing grenades in MGS2 sucks, and the pressure sensitivity is a little off. If ya can get past those issues, you should have no problems. |

Welcome! It seems everyone is on holiday. I've been wondering, what does the apple mean in mgs4... Drebin's monkey stole snakes cigarette and replaced it with an apple. Liquid crushed Eva's apple in act 3. Could it represent the heart? No i don't think that's it. This is an ongoing thought of mine. I think I'm getting better at that sort of thing. I do believe the apple has some symbolism to it. When Eva first picks up the apple, she mentions the "forbidden fruit" that the apple is from the Garden of Eden. I'm not totally sure what the meaning behind the apple is, I think it has multiple meanings, depending on what's happening in the game at time. |

Also, there was something about eva being tempted by the snake in mgs3(Like in the bible), and she mentions how it was the reverse. And in MGS4 they are in a church at the time the apple appears. OMG the plot thickens. Sorry for my poor grammer and such, I'm in a bit of a rush here. Hell, my grammer isn't normally that good anyway. Time really flies by when playing MGS4, the cut-scenes seem about 10 minutes long when they are really more like 30. How do they do that? What's up with naomi's usb necklace, she keeps un-clipping it as if she is going to do something with it. I know she copied a file called "Solid Snake" onto it and i was thinking "Yup, she's gonna try clone him." But that's a different story The scene with Meryl and Young Snake at the table is brilliant. I can't think of a thing wrong with it. Act 3 is the best. Also ocelots name is Adam, Eva drops the apple in front of adam and he crushes it. Edited by gamerstation151, Aug 12 2012, 01:57 AM.

I've changed my mind, I like Raiden in MGS4. Even though he is just a deus ex machina, his ending is brilliant. I'm an idiot, realized the blue rose represented snake after one of the petals fell in the last act. Edited by gamerstation151, Aug 13 2012, 06:15 PM.

Haha, Gamer, there is so much symbolism in each MGS game it's ridiculous. That's why the games can be replayed so MUCH. You catch on to more things, each time you play an MGS title. That's why Kojima is a mastermind. We don't even realize the amount of work and detail he puts in every game. It's astonishing. |
