I might get the Ratchet & Clank ACiT platinum, I think I'm pretty close. But I'm not sure.

Only plats i have are MGS2 and 3 and probably the only ones I ever will have. I would've done MGS4 but from what I understand you need to attain all the emblems and that probably isn't something I wanna do again, I mean I think you can get more than 1 for 1 play, in fact would be unreasonable if you couldn't, that'd be like fucking 30 playthroughs

But yeah, I don't see myself wanting to do all those emblems again

I'm planning on doing MGS4 :/

Killzone 2 has been my hardest platinum but it looks like the title will be taken by MGS2. I'm hoping the Big Boss emblem will be even harder!

Had to teach a friend the way of the spoon, to get past Strangelove in mgs3

Taking your quote here as well Gamer. I seriously need you to clarify this, because it makes no fucking sense. Strangelove isn't in MGS3.

Okay, that's what I thought. But, you understand why I was confused. You did say MGS3.

MGS2 was a lot of fun getting platinum for, the only shit I got a little tired of were the redundant gun mode challenges on all characters. But the rest is fun

I haven't gotten the platinum for MGS2 yet, but I've done it for MGS3 already. I'm about to go back and try and get platinum for MGS2, then Peace Walker. If MGS1 had trophies, I'd platinum DAT BITCH.
MGS4....I don't know if I want to go back and do all of that. Every emblem...I honestly don't have the time for that lol

it got me really thinking and kinda wishing that there was a trophy for finishing a game's main story... so over-time you're profile would have a list of SP campaing's you'd finished, rather than just a random number of random trophies you've got and then the occasiaonal game you've done everything on :/

You use the curved side of the spoon and swipe it back and forth over one of the face buttons. It works really well, It's the only way i could get past Strangelove. Also, did they make the Solidus choke holds easier in the hd collection? I remember them being much harder.

I used to, but I've since learned a new weird technique where I hold the controller with my fingers and palm and with both my thumbs on the button, pushing the button with my right thumb and moving the controller back and forth hitting my left thumb. I can't think of a better way to explain it right now. It's still a bit pathetic though :/

Sorry if I haven't explained it that well, tried my best.

Okay, I get it now. Honestly, that's really strange. MGS1, when I was 7 back in 1998, made me a pro button masher. When I play video games with my friends, that isn't MGS and has a button mashing part, they wonder why I can press the button so quickly.

I wish I could explain my technique. I can make my middle finger twitch really fast, I don't know how, always have been able to since I was little. I flex my middle finger and it starts twitching really fast, allowing me to dominate button-mashing scenes. It's weird. I can understand if none of you know what I'm talking about.

But a spoon, Gamer? That's just weird. But, to each their own.

If it works it works. Lol, I have a 100% success rate when teaching this to people... I have shown one person. The two thumb technique is the next step though lol.
