Great review, imo.

I never knew E.E.'s parrot would imitate Raiden if you constantly ask it if it is Ames. x)

The Soliton Radar explanation is something I've always felt was neat, but at the same time lazy on Kojima's part. Despite it being logical. (You'll see, if you watch the review)

I came across the very same video about a week ago...strange. But, an excellent review, nonetheless. It's just incredible the amount of detail each MGS game has. It's almost been 12 years since MGS2 came out, and I can't even count how many times I've beaten the game, in different fashions. I'm STILL figuring out new things about it and little easter eggs within the game. That to me, is just why I view Kojima as a genius. That shit is rare, especially in today's gaming standards.

Just finished watching it, and I did hate those fucking nodes... but it was a pretty fucking good review tbf... gona watch MGS3's now...

and I have to say, after replaying it when the HD collection came out. MGS3 is moving up my list of fav games of all time, its a master piece it really is.

Couldn't agree more, dude. In terms of delivering a story and writing, it's Kojima's best work in that regard, imo. It's hard for me to say that because MGS1 is my favorite MGS in almost every aspect, the story is so fucking good. But, MGS3's plot twist was just so awesome. Especially how it was delivered. Debriefing playing in the background, as EVA is telling you the truth of what The Boss did and why she did it. Ahhhhh, just greatness. Also, the OST, jesus.

I don't know... MGS4 was such a deep fucking experience playing though it in almost one sitting for 24hrs... especially after all the hype...

That guy has some great reviews, been watching his MGS reviews as they come

dat talking about The End really brought back those feels of the first time you faced him, I still fucking love him to this day but nothing compares to that first time you faced him and you instantly noticed the lack of tense boss music playing, it was just total silence with no sight of the guy.

>that first time perspective changed and you saw yourself through his scope

fucking mind blown

>that standing still for a long time in FPV looking for a glare from his scope
>that exiting FPV finding that he's standing behind you with his rifle aimed at the back of your fucking head

Magical boss battle

Also never knew of the Ames/Parrot trick either, it was actually that review that sent me on looking for some easter eggs, I had never really looked up easter eggs on mgs2, I had seen videos on youtube at times of course but never actually with effort looked into hidden easter eggs I had missed cause I just assumed I had found them all and I was 90% right but some I had missed

>dat knocking on the vagina on posters in lockers causing alert mode
>dat jennifer
>dat Emma talking about Raiden's hair and Raiden being offended

One I knew through accidental find on youtube some years ago was flashing your dick to the tengu in Arsenal Gear, Raiden apparently hangs dong

I don't think I've ever played though The End's boss battle properly yet... I should probably do something about that.

I have a method for beating The End which makes it very easy. Last time I had him defeated in 5 minutes I think, no sweat broken. :P

I beat him without even fighting him, that's how good I am.

I think he's fun almost no matter what way you face him, but yeah that first time, it being a real slow burn was just great

But I found it almost as exciting the second time around where I was going for the Moss camo and all I knew is I had to hold him up and it made for some tense gameplay trying to get behind the guy, of course all these years down the line you know literally all his hiding spots, but shieet I still enjoy him when I play at a fast pace

FREEZE!
..How did you
