Out here in NA it was a separate thing, sold on it's own for $20. Not TOO bad, but it was hard to find. |

Here in EU we got it with Substance edit: ninja'd Speaking of things that got cut, Oldboy.. I wonder if we'll ever see him in an MGS game, it could be cool. He was apparently an old mentor to Big Boss, little too late for him to be a mentor in Ground Zeroes perhaps but maybe he could be there in person, on his team or something. Well the fact that he's old yeah, but other than that they don't have much in common it doesn't seem Chinaman was another boss that was cut and he sounds like he could've either been the worst piece of shit ever or fucking awesome, boss was apparently going to be set both on ground and underwater Both Chinaman and Vulcan Raven have tattoos that come to life and attack Both Chinaman and Decoy Octopus are masters of special effects Being a mystic, he has similar abilities to Psycho Mantis and The Sorrow. Sounds like it could've either been a total disaster or really fucking cool, given the swimming mechanics of MGS2 I can't say I would've been thrilled to have fought a boss with those, but I don't really know how the underwater stuff would've worked |

Old Boy was originally a member of Dead Cell but was ''killed'' in backstory because they had no time to implement him into the story itself, he was also going to be named ''Old Man'' but was later scrapped and turned into The End.

that is true, people seem to jump to speculations of PW characters but this could be possible would be really cool if it happened, seeing as how he seems to have been a weapon's expert maybe he'll be a Sigint type character on BB's team |

Yeah I literally could not care less about an MGS movie being made I could never take it seriously unless Kojima makes it and it's CG and has all the right voice actors.. but even in that scenario I'd just much rather have a game instead, lol never got why fans ever cared for a movie being made, it's gonna suck ass when it happens anyways |

And on top of everything, the Goddamn games themselves are fuckin movies as it is. Jesus, lol. Edit Metal Gear has a special quality to it though. There are instances that NEED to be controlled by the player to be appreciated. I think there is a LOT going on that simply cannot translate to film without feeling wrong or being butchered. I find it funny how there are some people out there who still insist Phantom Pain and GZ are different.   sure, the beard is longer in Phantom Pain, but the growth lines (how high up a beard grows on a man's face) are identical. And these lines vary from male to male, slightly most times. Not to mention colour is the same, too. So either they are the same game, and Phantom Pain footage is taking palce AFTER a while in GZ, or they are separate games, both starring Jack. Edited by Hoss, Mar 20 2013, 04:50 AM.

If it is, the only way to explain the craziness going on during the Phantom pain trailer is that there is a real invasion by a group of soliders and that Big Boss is so out of his head on meds that he is seeing both a real situation mixed with hallucinations. During the car crash scene, you can see tablet capsules being thrown around which maybe placed in the scene for the viewer to maybe give you a clue to why all the madness. |
