Well I do like TTS. But I understand that's an unpopular opinion, especially among MGS fans.

What was the problem with Twin Snakes exactly? I enjoyed the PSX version and the Gamecube remake. The gamecube took on the MGS2 like engine, enableing first person view and improved AI. I liked that variation on the gamplay. |

People dislike TTS mainly because of the over the top cutscenes, the change in voice acting and the unbalanced gameplay. And the change in music. Edited by Nyxus, Jun 25 2013, 05:34 PM.

I don't understand why anyone, even Kojima would want to remake MGS again, TW was garbage and took away part of MGS's appeal which is it's graphical style. |

Kojima on MGS remake: 可能であれば「MGS1」を「FOXエンジン」でリメイクはしてみたいですが、「V」もあるし、それ以外のタイトルの方がプライオリティは高いので、僕もコジプロでの内作は無理。なので、外部スタジオで、誰か核となる出来るクリエーターがいればやってみたいですね。というニュワンスで伝えたもの。 I believe he's saying that while he does want to make it, it's not high priority right now. |

He says he DOES want to remake MGS1 in Fox Engine, but right now his priority is MGSV, above anything else. He isn't sure if he wants to have Kojipro do it, internally, or pass it to a core developer from an outsourced studio, though. Seems he wants to do it himself but at the same time wants someone else to do it. Collaboration maybe? |
