lol MG 1/2 remake, please. MGS still holds up great and I don't think it needs another remake, especially if they end up making another matrix snakes. |

Ok so turns out it was a bad translation, I'm on my phone so my post wil be vague till I can fix it on my PC, but, as per Kojima's English twitter, turns out that he dsnt recommend people who are new to the series play MGS or mgs2 and go from mgs3 instead due to the control and overhead camera. He's also not looking to remake MGS but if some team really wanted to do it he might entertain the idea. Also the legacy collection will contain a bunch of the graphic novels so people don't have to play MGS and mgs2. He also said that mgs2 couldn't be remade, I'm assuming this is for the same reasons it wasn't redone like mgs3 for the ps2 in that the game is basically filled with narrow hallways and a free moving camera would be a nightmare and the game would feel too clostraphobic (?) Nyx did it for me on the front page so I wont bother fixing my bullshit Edited by baldgye, Jun 27 2013, 11:24 AM.

What do you mean fix?  And yeah, they talked on a podcast once about free camera in MGS2, and that's it pretty much impossible to do because of the narrow hallways, beyond which the game world doesn't exist.

Yeah a free camera isn't really needed like it is in MGS3, which has more open environments that you can scan using the 3D camera. In MGS2 you just look down the hallway to scan for enemies. Developer Just Add Water offers to do the MGS remake. Edited by Nyxus, Jun 27 2013, 03:37 PM.

Faith? You ask me to have faith when the likes of my own God are in the hands of oppressors unknown? I cannot have faith in such an event, young one. I won't stand idly by as my one and only is stripped from this world and made anew with such atrocities as a new camera, or features unneeded, and for what? FOR WHAT, I ASK?! A NEW EXPERIENCE? This type of sacrilege should never go unnoticed or unattended to, we should never turn a blind eye to such shameful defacing of a righteous product.

Stranger's wrath, much's oddysee and currently the remake of abe's oddysee I would much prefer mg1 and 2 over another mgs remake but metal gear is never too much |
