I think I'm coming to the conclusion that MGS2 is my favourite of all the MGS games. It's a massive 'fuck you' and every time you play it you can see more and more of it, and more and more of the detail and depth.

It's the only MGS title you can replay and get a really very diffrent opinion off.
With the others, the more you play the more you understand and see, but MGS2 the more you play the more conflicted you become. First (as a child playing it) you hate it, Riden is a pissy bitch and Rose won't shut the fuck up. But the more you play it, the more you realise that Raiden is a fucking badass and there is a lot more going on with Rose than you first give credit for. Then the is how The ending relates to the world we now live in, with the internet filled with trite and garbage (like this post).

I love it.

The problem is the more I love it, the more I'm disappointed with MGS4, which was until I relayed MGS2 a month or two back, my favourite of the MGS games.

MGS4 was the franchise-killer for me till MGS: Peace Walker restored my faith. MGS2 is not my favorite, but I respect it. It was a good Metal Gear despite the weird factors it held that were clumsily half-explained in MGS4.

To this day I still don't know if MGS2 was a VR training sim or real life

Does anyone know how to download Portable Ops on Vita? I've purchased it via Sony Entertainment Network's website, but it says that I can't download to at PS Vita system. I know it's a PSP game, but other PSP games work on Vita.

Edit: Nevermind. Just called customer support. Portable Ops isn't supported on the Vita like other PSP games. Bummer.
Took a bit of back tracking to find this, but the PS store now says that Portable Ops is compatible with Vita, with no notes on not being compatible.

Man, thanks for letting me know. Always wanted to play this game. Now I just have to figure out how to access the EU Sony Store after my Vita charges back up. Hopefully, it's an easy process.
Not as easy as I had hoped. I've only got one memory card and PSN accounts are tied to memory cards. Looks like I'll have to format my only memory card to set up an account. Creating back up now, which looks like its going to take about 30 minutes. It will be worth it in the end! I'll finally be able to play Portable Ops!
Actually, I don't know how I can pay for it. When setting up a EU account it doesn't give me the option of putting a US billing address for my credit card. Any ideas?

PSN card bro
I thought of that, but only found a few places online that offered PSN cards for that region. The cheapest I found was $41. Can't justify $41 for a game that would only be $10 if I had a PSP.
