This guy also has my favorite series of reviews for MGS. I do like the MGS2 analysis by Bunnyhop, but his other reviews just piss me off. Hate the way he talks. |

So, I was rewatching the Portable Ops story on Youtube when I noticed this:  The first picture shows Elisa entering PO's Metal Gear. I thought it looked quite similar to the Shinkawa drawings of the ST-84 featuring what seems to be Psycho Mantis. While watching the very final dialogue between Snake and Gene I realised that it kinda pisses me off that Snake is always - like ALWAYS - the guy who's tricked until the end of a mission... Everything is always a setup or a plot within a plot and Snake (even Solid Snake) is always the puppet. Although there's NO CHANCE he can beat his enemy - he always beats them. But several plots later it was all just a plan from an even naughtier enemy - pulling the strings from the background. I wish Snake was in charge once. I wish HE is the one who fools everyone else... Maybe things will change in The Phanton Pain. Even if this means that he becomes the bad guy. It would be awesome if Snake once is the one who answers the call at the very end post-credit-scene. Pretty sure this is the point, Snake mostly represents the player (except in MGS2 Big Shell ofc), so it's not so much Snake getting tricked, its you. |

Yeah I'm curious how it's going to play out, as I've got a feeling BB is gona rape Mother Base at the end, I wonder if u get to play that out as BB or as one of his soldiers or as a child solider etc... |
