MGS1 Snake really is the only one with really hard variety missions. I do love, I think it's Snake, but it could be Raiden.. either way, whichever you get to face Gurlugon, I like that boss battle. But god I was so annoyed when doing it, cause I had gone through the whole thing y'know defeating all the soldiers and shit, and then I get to it, and I'm running thinking, whenever I make a quick stop, run away from his beam thing and then fire, and being the idiot that I am, I fucking equip the stinger right away, I get struck by his beam and at this point I can't equip my ration so I die and fail the fight, lol.

I do really like the huge guard bosses you face, I wish there were a simpler way of facing off against them, where you could just start the battle straight away. That could've been a thing for all boss battles and it would've been awesome, similar to the boss survival only you get to pick what boss to fight against, and there Genola, Gurlugon, Mecha Genola would be as well.

I can't remember if it was Snake or Raiden either. Anyway, with Gurlugon I just used the magazine trick to end the battle straight away. Are you aware of this method?

I also wish you could pick boss battles, as I really like the Metal Gear Ray fight from the main game.

Nope, but that sounds cool, gotta try it. I am aware though that all the mutant huge soldiers have alternate ways of beating them, you can beat Genola in like 3 different ways

The magazine method will end the battle instantly. In a good old japanese humor kind of way lol.

lolno. If you had to get them perfect it would be called 'Impossible' not 'Virtually Impossible'.

I assume you mean like fully complete all of it's content, not as in you haven't at all finished even the story

I say do it, it's a lot of fun doing, lots of hours of content. Watch some of the pros play it on youtube to get a general idea of how to play it, you'll feel less restricted during gameplay then, at least I think. I'm not sure how most people play MGS2, but it's good to get familiarized with the more arcade:ish way of playing it, you'll feel a lot more free when sneaking around, doing hold ups, elimination mode and shit like that.

I may be rambling, I'm not sure. But when I saw videos of really good players playing and how they did it back in the day, I just started feeling more free with the gameplay, do wild shit and the more comfortable you'll get, you'll find quicker ways of handling shit and it's great when you get really good at it

ofc that isn't a must at all but it's something I'd recommend for people to get the most out of vr missions

Laugh, and grow fat.

Anyway, did some extra ops missions in PW.
Started up the game today, and there was a patch available. It didn't say what it was for, hopefully some of the typos and missing insects and ropes.
