I'm not really trying to take part in this, but this game has been announced to be canon. There is an interview with a person from both Konami and Platinum Games, confirming that Rising is canon. this is the interview Just my 2 cents. I do not wish to continue any of this. We'll see how that goes. Portable Ops had some good stuff(Gene, young Campbell, Elisa/Ursula) and some horrendous stuff(Volgin was a pawn, lolSokolov's alive, how BB and Yaeger first met wasn't featured but mentioned, etc.). Sad to see some go, glad to see the rest die. |

Oh well, Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pains always interested me more in any case. I was going to get this game for its cool-looking gameplay, concept and all the cutting, the plot being borderline canon is just a bonus.
