It reminds me more of Ninja Gaiden, but yeah, it will probably have some similarities to Bayonetta. And the presentation seems to be very over the top, PG style. |

Never really played no more hero's but if it played like a mix between Vanquish and Bayonetta (the melee combat) it could be pretty damn awesome |

I'm pretty sure that's going to happen. For example, it will have CODECs, cardboard boxes and returning characters. All stuff for the fans. Also the fact that they are using the lore of the series a lot, more than I expected. The whole 'Jack the Ripper' part and his history with Solidus, I think it's pretty cool that they are using that, and it seems like something for the fans. New audio file. It will be kinda awkward though if they explain Raiden's cyborgfication(which I think they will, judging by those live-action clips). Since it won't be canon with MGS4-Raiden and all... Just to make sure: Was the topic ever addressed in MGS4? Been years since my last playthough, so I can't remember if Raiden talked about what happened to him. Raiden: "Hey, Snake, been a while! So, I'm a cyborg now." Snake: "Oh, ok. Wanna help me defeat Liquid?" Raiden: "Sure, np." Snake: "Let's go!" |

It's never addressed in MGS4. He never explains him being made into a cyborg. But, your little made up convo is pretty funny. But, Raiden helped Snake because of how much Snake helped in MGS2. He protected Raiden. So that's why Raiden had the obligation to help Snake. "Snake, It's my turn to protect you". |

well i think the story isnt canon but they are taking the timeline in the series and just doing either a what if scenario or just "this is my interpretation of raiden's backstory within our own story" or something like that. and they explain why raiden is a cyborg in 4 through the mgs4 database thing. the database said that the patriots either took or kidnapped raiden and fitted him to be a cyborg ninja. |
