Yeah, probably best to watch it at home. Although it would seem fun to attend a big conference (especially with the bad streams I always have to deal with). |

Eh, the big confrences is where things are bad, just slightly moreso than the normal show floor. It is unbelievably hot, and louder than what you hear on streams. Everyone is in a bad mood, due to the hours they have to be around other people and on the show floor in general, despite seeming cheery when on camera. There are loads of factors that make E3 miserable as all hell. I loved the first one I went to, but after so many years of doing it, it wears on you. Edited by Hoss, Mar 25 2013, 06:57 PM.

Having been to Gamescon a very small UK games show, and having to que for shit there... Something like e3 sounds like the worst kind of hell. I might be British but fuck queuing for hours and hours to see something I can watch in the comfort of my own home. |

People who've never been to a convention really have no idea, lol. Especially one as big as E3. The game industry in general is nothing like I imagined, so the 5 years I spent in it were lackluster and boring a times. It was nice to meet some people though, who worked on some games I love, but even then, personalities are nothing like what you see in interviews. And at E3, you see who they really are because while they are in their environment, they are stressed, and stress brings out the ''real'' person in someone, lol. But it was a nice learning experience nonetheless. Fuck E3, though. |

I just wish the streams for the shows were more reliable, I always have either stuttering, or very low quality even on a small size video. |
