Interesting observation. It could be that later in the game Big Boss returns to FOXHOUND. Big Boss did come back to america to take control of FOXHOUND, while running Outer Heaven on the side. Or it could be Solid Snake, and the eye patch is there to throw us off. Maybe the game is divided into two chapters. Chapter 1 play as Big Boss, create Outer Heaven. Chapter 2 play as Solid Snake and destroy Outer Heaven. Who knows? |

Really really pissed off at konami for fucking non japs over again and again... they literally couldn't give the tinest shit. Gona have to try and order some of this shit through Tenso and hope I don't get fucking bear-backed on postage... really fucking annoyed.... No wait! You CAN'T even just buy it, the item is part of a LOTTERY that you can only partake in if your a fucking jap... I couldn't be more fucking pumped for this game. Next generation, calling it. An open-world MGS game. Sounds like heaven. Even though MGS is traditionally a game where you're put in one setting, which I love. We've never had a true open-world MGS game. The potential is massive. Goddamn! Snake crawled @ avoiding searchlights, killed guard, rode jeep, called in heli for evac. Sounds like MG, but the scale & atmosphere... Wow. Demo of "Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes", started w cutscene (all realtime), went into gameplay, open world, night, raining, base. Fucking luckers saw the demo >_> |

you mean FOX thats the FOX logo not FOXHOUND. i can see the logo is in the shape of an oval and has the fox conforming to the shape of that oval and the patch only says FOX. FOXHOUND has a home plate shape and a fox holding a knife in its mouth. that sir is a FOX logo. and its probably there for the same reason he had the FOX logo in peace walker. |

The Gamespot description sounds fantastic Playing 'Here's to you' as well, loved that in MGS4 I have to confess I was one who didn't want an MGS for a while but by the times comes out it wouldve been maybe 6 or so years since MGS4. Can't wait for this! Love abit of Big Boss gameplay Also it does sound like Frank and Snake are the 2 phantoms, no one else makes sense really. Gonna see a younger Solid Snake? I have been wanting an open world MGS since MGS4. And I hope you can capture enemy territory which needs defending. I hope that, if they have an arms dealer in the game (like drebin), then they don't use the drebin system. Instead, you have to contact him and arrange a meet up and he could be there, or he may have buggered off due to enemy troop movements etc. Oh my days, this is now my most anticipated title :-D Also, why is this not a numeral title? Why is it not MGS5? |

This part of the gamespot article confuses me " As he flips up his visors, we saw the trademark eyepatch and gruff face with the facial hair: Solid Snake seems to be back at a glance.
