Teaser for next e3...that would suck , it's basially in 1 year.
better than a teaser for a game's trailer that then never came out ?

West midlands, No I don't drive, we are going on the train. I'm just worried if they are showing gameplay that only over 18s are allowed in the kojima showcase.

Man the difference in animation is quite big. I haven't seen anybody gif the most impressive bit though, where he startles the rats, then he stands up from crawling at an angle and runs up hill sideways, shit looks very smooth. I'm hoping it manages to have smooth and responsive controls, I'm not expecting controls as responsive as mgs2, 3 and 4 with the arcade like gameplay of these titles, this one seems to be taking a step for a more cinematic approach which tbh is fine, but as long as the game doesn't feel like GTA4 I won't have any problems with it

Control wise I think PW has the most responsive controls, and a mix of that with the depth of MGS4 would be what I'm guessing it will be.

PW I imagine has helped the MGS series control wise more than anyother title, being able to do so much, with so little helped refine and hone the control scheme that got a little overly complicated with MGS4, jumping into MGS4 again isn't as easy as the previous titles becasue you can do so much, but PW is so simple its easy... so I'm hoping for a mix of the two

Imo , They r heading do the next step of animations : linking.

Games have almost always good animations now , but even the best games in that departement like Uncharted have a few issues when it comes to link two different animations one after the other.
The job in GZ seems incredible here.

I might be going to EG Expo as well, depends if i'm down though

Man I hate sneaking so good in MGS4 then getting caught by one lone guy :(

The animations look incredible, the only worry is like you say it feels like GTA4, I can't lie it looks like Snake has a heavy feel to him

Did you see when he aimed with the gun? it was so fast and snappy, even though it was holstered.

I'm not worried about unresponsiveness.

That's not what I'm talking about though, I'm talking about the movement itself

that said, I was actually gonna comment on the aiming of gun, looked very.... disjointed, I hope they smooth that out in the full game, in the skip of a frame he sort of already had the gun aiming, looked rather odd

If this is what the FoxEngine is capable of on PS3/360 level of hardware, then I can't imagine what it will look like on next gen systems.

Anybody else that want Big Boss to be a lot darker in this game than he was in 3?

I would be pretty disappointed if playing this finding out that I can't really tell him apart from his MGS3 self, at the same time I'm not expecting to play an antagonist but it would be great if we see him being capable of darker shit, making decisions where people wind up being killed and shit

Yes, that would be good, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. In fact, he does seem to be becoming a little darker since Peace Walker. In PW, he encouraged a 12 year old child to become a soldier, something most people would find morally deplorable. And the ending speech of PW: 'We may have to become criminals, terrorists.' And he seems to be all about the survival of Outer Heaven at any cost. Something I also noticed from the Ground Zeroes trailer, he suggests to Miller to 'silence' Paz just like that, because she has information on Outer Heaven. So all in all, I think they are already moving in that direction.
