Watched the trailer again. The first time I've been excited for a game in... so long, I couldn't care less about MGS4 when that came out lol. I was thinking, what if they remade Outer Heaven and Zanzibar land for MGS5, and what if in Outer Heaven you played Big Boss and in Zanzibar land you played Solid Snake... Thats probably the stupidest idea ever, but the thought just came to me, whether it would work or not is a different story.

Damn it, for the time being I'm gonna have to avoid this place because you guys keep bringing PW up a lot and I haven't even started the game, probably will get it in the MGS HD collection soon but right now I don't own it

Bio-implants are not always indication of one being a cyborg or robot... there are bio-implants in people today, and they are just normal people. I know, it's Metal Gear, but I'm just saying, having something implanted doesn't always equal robot/mech/cyborg. Edited by Hoss, Sep 5 2012, 10:01 AM.

I've been thinkg a little about burnface , and I 've seen people saying he could be decoy octopus... Why?Mostly cause he's described as being heavily wounded and burnt. I don't believe it too much , what do you think guys? |

I want to know why Kojima is suddenly back into Metal Gear.(And willingly it seems) I'm thinking maybe he has more creative freedom due to the game been easier to develop with FOX engine, I mean how else is he making three games at once? |

While I hope we get some cool returning characters, I also hope we get new ones, and by new I mean NEW, everyone doesn't have to be related to one another. I don't know anything about Huey but I would love it if he's teaming up with Big Boss in Ground Zeroes, not at all in the way that Otacon and Solid Snake teamed up, I want Huey and Big Boss to do shady shit, maybe Big Boss orders Huey to make some shit that is bad for people, but they willingly do it because it is what has to be done to advance Big Boss' plans or whatever. As I said, I don't know how Huey is though, I read he was voiced by Christoper Randolph which I thought was.... stupid, I mean it hurts to say because of how much I love Otacon but really... I don't have the same voice as my dad, why not take the opportunity here and have Huey be his own character not "70's Otacon" and have him and BB work on some dark shit. Maybe I'm eating my own words here, maybe that was exactly what they did in PW but I don't know, hearing that they got the same actor that played Otacon just made me guess that their goal was 70's Otacon. I would prefer it if they go ta new voice actor for him in Ground Zeroes if he teams up, it'll help separate him from Otacon and have him be his own character As for PW characters in general, since I haven't played them myself I can't judge on who I'd want back, I mean Miller would be cool of course, but aside from him I've heard a lot of shit about PW characters, again not my own opinion, just read a lot of hate on PW's story and the characters in them with people hoping not too many characters from that game return to GZ I have no idea where I was going with this post, turned into me rambling.. I just like.. talking about this game since I'm excited as shit for it, but yes having a sort of polar opposite team work type of deal with Big Boss and Huey could be cool (that is polar opposite to Solid Snake and Otacon) |

Yeah, I really only want Miller and Strangelove to return. The tone/atmosphere in this is brilliant, glad we're getting something different. I really only have 4mins of gameplay to go on, but I think this has a really good chance of being the best Metal Gear. MGS4 had no chance as it had explain everything that came before it. My favorite Metal Gears so far are MGS1/2 and Peace Walker which i have fallen in love with. And how about this, what if in the next Metal Gear, you rewrite Metal Gear history but killing Snake at Zanzibar land :OOOOOOOOO the would be a huge mindf***. |

I'm sure GZ will have new characters because PW had a pretty big cast of new (good) characters. Miller will definitely return, he's in the trailer, and so are Paz and Chico (Paz is only talked about though). If Chico is in it, Amanda might be in it as well. Huey could play a part too. And yes, he does sound like Otacon, but I do think he's pretty different in personality, he already seemed a little more shady, less 'good' than Otacon. |

Amanda might be dead, though. The burnt guy said to the boy they killed a woman, so if he was Chico then the woman was most likely Amanda. |

i only heard the burned guy say she didnt suffer that doesnt exactly mean shes dead and i dont think she was in any danger anyways. the guy was talking about Paz since you know Spoiler: click to toggle also if amanda was there and then got killed Miller would have told Big Boss Amanda was also captured but she wasnt. Amanda was no where near the place chico is and i doubt she died.@Cartman your argument with huey and otacon sharing voice actors there is another character that also shares a voice actor i mean i cant think of the name but im sure he is on a few MGS game covers. :p |
