And I don't know but if you don't care about side missions and all , you can just go through the main storyline , thus the structuration of progression won't really change from the old linear styles like MGS1 to 4. I don't know how much it influences the game's balance when you don't do side missions in PW , someone tried ? Though I guess it will be different since you do not have to go trough the recruitement mechanic in GZ I guess ? You make me fckin' laugh with ur "instabuy"(s) ! :p |

![]() ![]() >attention to detail in the asscheeks doesn't live up to the series past a tight suit like that has no reason not to firmly grip your man cheeks, immersion totally broken /pre order cancelled |

The ass cheeks is part of the final polishing, of course! Kojima will take an extra week for it I'm sure. I'm also wondering how the weather will influence them, they shine in the rain as you can see. |

Yeah, what worries me though is, the first trailer from MGS4 ![]() That is some phenomenal attention to detail, and it was from the first glimpse we got of the game. I immensely enjoyed the (albeit very limited) dynamic weather effects had on his buttocks in MGS4, the snow frost was a nice attention to detail, and seeing as how Ground Zeroes has a whole 24H cycle I'm really curious as to what they'll do with the different weather systems we have there, humidity and such, I hope all of this is a factor in how his cheeks are presented For a tight suit like that, and not to mention the heavy rain making the suit wet, there really isn't any excuse for the cheeks to be presented as such, but I'll accept it seeing as how this is actual in-game footage from a very early version of the game |

Yeah the 24 hour cycle should be interesting. Seeing that ass in the orange glow of a sunset, or in the golden sheen of a new dawn... |

![]() I think this one pretty much speaks for itself, AND why it's my favorite in the series. I mean they're so incredibly well defined, and that is with today's standard in mind, they're timeless really. A huge reason Twin Snakes simply didn't live up to my expectations was due to how little work was put into this, I was.. disgusted, it was completely ignored, as if it wasn't an important aspect of the series ![]() MGS3 I understand, the sneaking suits designed with this in mind simply hadn't been invented in the 60's and it's an acceptable excuse and I was able to enjoy the game with this in mind, even if I did miss it. Same goes for MGS1 except here the technology in the real world was what didn't allow it, which I of course understand and accept. Edited by Cartman, Sep 27 2012, 07:04 PM.

So if Motherbase is back does that mean that soldier recovery is back as well? If so, it would be great if we could load our PW save and have an army right from the beginning. |

Wow, you're completely right. The quality of each game is reflected in how detailed and toned the ass cheeks are. With MGS3 being the exception Obviously. |

Cartmen is a visionary. A great, he sees thing that we do not, he thinks outside the box. I am going to publish your book "The correspondence with anal detail and general quality in the Metal Gear Solid games". You are going to be a millionaire. |

The blurb is going to be "Some snake's have a deep and visible crack, some are flat but reflect sunlight, find out how Cartmen predicted the flop of Metal Gear Ground Zeroes." I'll stop now. |

I think I'm ready to talk about why I was never able to get into Peace Walker, the real reason. Spoiler: click to toggle I was hurt. There no longer was an excuse, tight spandex sneaking suit had gone mainstream in the 70's, I couldn't turn a blind eye to the whole ordeal, I was emotionally devastated that they seemed to have purposefully avoided the whole matter and knowingly design the character without a firm decisive buttocks in mind, it adds so much to the character, yes we have his presence and to some that may be enough, but we need physical cues that speak to the legend of this man, and they simply ignored it. When I first saw he was wearing the very same Sneaking Suit in Ground Zeroes I was just about ready to give up hope, it took a lot of courage to watch that trailer, let me tell you. I cannot tell you how happy I am that they decided to retcon the sneaking suit itself, because while the asscheeks might not be up to my complete satisfactory, I am still glad they're present. I guess the PSP couldn't fully render the cheeks, and they just didn't bother for the HD Collection. It's a shame, because they could have had 'remastered ass cheeks' as a bullet point on the box. |
