i think its all a matter of perspective. Big Boss fights the US in peace walker becomes an enemy of the US and then Solid Snake sent from the US to stop Big Boss kinda makes sense. but i agree that i want him to be more darker. but i think big boss will be evil in this. he stopped wearing his bandanna so that should mean something. and as nyxus mentioned pages earlier Big Boss suggested silencing Paz right off the bat. |

Just read your latest article, Nyx http://metalgearsolid.nl/?p=6853 All that shit sounds very promising, I remember reading a while back on how great it'd be if we could choose our own way of infiltration, if we wanna do another halo jump, if we wanna approach the base from underwater, or as seen in the trailer climbing a big ass cliff That becoming a reality would be like the greatest shit ever, imagine a large area you're in, the base is quite far off, you could try the direct approach and just go through the door, or you could halo jump directly into the motherfucking base, maybe not the most subtle choice to do in daylight but if it's night it could be more ideal Loving that he's expanding on the player freedom in the game as well as the pacing the player chooses to go at |

So I was talking with a friend about the game and how caution/alerts will work and it got me really excited thinking about it, I'm gonna come off a little vague here cause it's been a while since I read that interview but Kojima mentioned something about no game overs, like if you're caught, you have to deal with that and of course taken literally he's just describing all past MGS games, there wasn't a game over screen unless you played with it on But with his most recent interview he's talking about playing the game for 2-3 hours is exhausting for the team due to the pacing and what if there are actual like consequences to being spotted in this game, like in that Ground Zeroes trailer (not the extended one) he's spotted and an alarm in that base goes off, this game and its world is seamless (whatever base you're on currently at least) and so it's not like the enemies can settle like they did in the past where each area were sort of separated from one another So imagine that alarm goes off and you're lying there on the ground, the entire fucking base has now been alerted of your presence and of course you can run off and hide from the enemies but the way that entire base operates just changed, they all know that an intruder is there now and enemy patterns change, there's more of them out searching, they're more alert It would bring some real fucking tension to the stealth of the game as being spotted would have big consequences Would be really fucking cool if the game did this |

It would be make sense to have GZ to be as real as possible, with the likes of no timed alerts so after 2 minutes everyone hasn't forgotten about you. The likes of what we saw from the trailer in an area like camp omega, the enemy is only concerned with whats happening in and around the camp, as soon as an alert go's out, the place should be crawling with guards. This was kinda what let me down with MGS4, I really thought that on a harder playing level that there would be a binary code for random patrol routes and number of guards. It would give the game so much more replay value. |

I would rather if Kojima would concentrate everything on the single player game and not bother with an online mode. People expect it and go crazy if its not in the package. |

well since Konami ditched the Konami ID system that nightmare wont happen again. and kojima hated the konami ID system as well. to me i want a new MGO but if GZ doesnt have it i wont cry a river. |

I played MGO a few times and I couldnt get into it, I can uderstand them trying it but I hope it's left out. I like MG for being a loner kinda game and multlplayer goes against that,lol |

idk i thought it worked especially in mgs3 with the classic sneaking missions. i just like the game itself. i hope its in GZ but as i said if its not i wont be disappointed. i buy mgs games for the story primarily the online is the last thing i look for regardless. |

Hey, i didnt had the oportunity to play MGS4 multiplayer, but i spent quite some time with PW mp section and it was amazing. It just... worked. It didnt reached full potential because of the PSP limitations, but it would be wonderful to have huge maps and bigger capacity of players. And it be amazing on a open world setting. I mean, like Red Dead Redemption multiplayer, but with the tight controls only MGS can offer. |

I believe it will have something similar to PWs co-op since Kojima is interested in the social aspect of gaming. |
