I'll accept. I will say though that MGS4 makes it kind of hard not to "break it down" since the settings are all pretty vastly different from one another, I don't get that sense of connection with the setting I got in the other titles "MGS2 featured full blown fapping" ah man these fucking guys, this is gold Edited by Cartman, Oct 21 2012, 11:26 PM.

yeah it can be a bit jarring, but my first and most memerable experiance playing MGS4 was my first time and was a 2 part marathon that I base most of my emotional responses from. |

What? No. >_> MGS4 is my least favourite game in the franchise, and is the worst one, imo. Even if I did love MGS4, I don't get mad over opinions that people have on games in the franchise, or any franchise. Video games are a trivial thing to get angry over. :s |

I gotcha bro. My first playthrough of MGS4 was probably the worst one, I mean I did finish it in 2 sittings, only break I took was sleeping basically, so I mean even though it was the worst one it wasn't really terrible but it was just, I wasn't feeling it at all, lol. I remember my dad was like "...so you're not very enthusiastic about it, huh..." I'm like dying inside "No..no, it's fine" but later plays were better, I mean I did follow that with like 15 consecutive runs through the game, well it took a while but I mean at least 6 consecutive ones. And then this latest one I had was my 2nd "story" playthrough where I watched every single cutscene again and I enjoyed it more this time, the story and all. I didn't realize that, but that's a fucking long time, it took me 4 years to do another story play of MGS4, geez. >These guys giving credit to SS in MGS2 mahniggas Well if you have passion for that shit, it's not so trivial is it. But that's cool, I wasn't aware it was your least favorite, I mean I didn't mistaken you for baldie or anything I just assumed you loved MGS4 a shitload since I seem to be in the minority here to have problems with it, albeit I do still really enjoy the game "WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE WE'RE TEMPTED TO FUCK THAT ROBOT" oh fuck me this is hilarious Edited by Cartman, Oct 22 2012, 12:01 AM.

Dat Cartman, twisting everything I've posted in this entire thread. Games are trivial to become upset over, because they are not something integral to one's life. They are, more or less, a privilege, toys more or less. Regardless, what i am saying is they are not something so serious to get mad over. Much likes films, and food for some people... Well I watched the first part of the first video, and tbh it was kind of annoying to watch, because for people who have clearly done there research they keep going back to hatin on it for essentially what it is, which just seems at odds with how much research they did into it :/ They seem to spend a whole bunch of time ripping on the fact MGS is goofy, as if it was something new to mgs4 too... Like all of the games have there goofy things... Like REX crying out like a T-Rex etc etc |

I love MGS4, but the more i play it, the more frustrated i get with the stupid things. Like when Naomi tells Otacon and Snake that BB is still alive. Hate that scene. And just about whenever Raiden is in a scene. |

I'm not really mad becasue they know more shit that I do so alot of it is interesting, but just the HURRR DURR ITS A METAL GEAR MOVIE-I MEAN GAME-HUURRRRRRRR was obnoxious at best :/ but I'll contiune to watch them as and when I get time |

Dat not relevant to the topic reply. I'm guessing you didn't watch any of the links in my OP... One thing though they bring up, that I've always thought (Though it's logical why) is Snake never takes shots when he has them, with the exception of Vamp. Seems kind of silly. Yeah, but movies, tv shows and other games have always done that... Or in games when your caught by one guy with a gun and taken prisoner is kinda silly given that you can take like 10shots in pervious scenes |

I agree with the thing they touch on, about the Beauties, how they are all, mostly, the same, once defeated. And the points they raise about Octopus are pretty true, tbh.
