So you guys remember those images we've seen, of FOX engine rendering rooms and it looks real? It looks like Joakim was rendered in FOX Engine, and he's not a real person. (Obv Geoff was in on it). When you watch the interview, if you just simply stare at his face, and the longer you watch, the less real his face looks. The lighting on the bridge of his nose is also wrong, compared to the lighting on the rest of his face and room's light source. Also, his cheekbones are odd at certain angles. Also, his blinking is unnatural, as well as the bandage texture being impossibly different in areas it shouldn't be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=yRpbxBDA1-Q#t=142s From here to the end, his eye area and the bridge of his nose are completely odd looking. So, yeah, possibility that he was a render. |

^ It's definitely plausible, I thought something looked off while I watched the interview... Also it would be make sense with GDC "Photorealism" session about FoxEngine. This interview was pretty pointless (He refused to answer almost every question) which leads me to believe its there to surprise people at GDC when they reveal that the whole thing was a product of the Engine. Loved the ending though.

Agreed, good shout Scotia. It would make perfect sense. I was slightly confused at the dark background of "Joakim" then the ridiculously bright pink behind Geoff. Also, guys, the Moby Dick studios logo isn't a whale's tail, it's a two headed snake, just stylized.  No I'm not serious. :p Another aspect of Joakim that seems off is the whites of his eyes. They are too bright, and stark. Especially given the room he is in and its lighting, not to mention no one has eyes that are that seamless and pristine, they are basically free of all life... If he's indeed CG it's probably the most real I have ever seen. But we can be pretty sure it's all acted, by both 'Joakim' and Geoff.

Well it's obviously a real person, Fox engine is good, but it's not THAT good I would very happily be wrong on this and get fucking insanely realistic facial renders like that but.. nope, no way in shit is that cgi, lol. But again I'll happily admit I was fooled if it is revealed to have been a render of a fake person when GDC starts. And I know you didn't say it was certain, that doesn't mean I can't reply to such absurd theory, and I know you share it with many others, that doesn't mean it's any less stupid, son |

Black helps mask a lot of faults to the human eye, it's a colour that is hard to discern certain aspects from. It's why black clothes make people appear thin, it hides shape very well and other things. Again, I'm not saying it's concrete, but you absolutely need to keep that aspect twisted in your mind so you can ''prove'' me wrong when I'm not right or wrong about anything. You're fucking terrible, dude. Just get the fuck out. Time for me to dip into that thread and make a request. :3 Edit: And I very much so know what shitposting means, bro. Prime example?
