Actually, I took another look at it, and in the corner showing the arm equipped it has a Grade 6 rating(we saw this upgrade menu in the original E3 2015 gameplay briefly), meaning that he's upgraded that thing 6 times... maybe after fully upgrading it you get infinite replacement arms or something.
