If you're talking about PC, I have no idea. If you're talking about PS4, I had a similar thing happen to me with Far Cry 4. I never was able to fix it though. |

So i told PlayAsia to go fuck themselves and cancelled my two Premium Package orders and got another Premium Package GUARANTEED for myself, only thing is, do we know what the arm is made of? Is it all plastic? |

From what I remember reading when we where first talking about it it's all plastic except some metal inside to support the cables and gubbins so the hand and fingers work properly. |

Ugh, makes me wonder if it's worth it. I can't use any of the DLC codes, since DLC is region locked, the map... is a waste. Basically it's $442 for a plastic arm. :s I'm just wondering if anyone would be selling just the arm, AFTER launch day. Edited by Hoss, Aug 17 2015, 01:15 PM.

What sucks (and it happens every time Konami does Japan only shit) is that the retail price of that thing is like $250, import shops almost double that price. Then when it comes out and goes on ebay that prices triples. Then people start selling the stuff from it for double the price of the retail price. It happened with PW. b/c I'm 100% broke as fuck now I can't afford to do anything about it, but if I wasn't sure I would probably either go full hog or wait a few years. Once the hype dies you can buy the expensive stuff for a lot cheaper. |

Yeah, I was thinking I'm either gonna get it, or wait 2 years. But 2 years is lame. Especially since I still want to get a second arm for you, Pete. (I'ma do it and you can't fuckin stop me, son) My only issue here is it's ALL plastic. Internal stuff doesn't count, to me, as ''materials'' since they are something that is engineered and required to be metal and or resin stuff. I mean, sure the arm is being made by SENTINEL, so I know it's gonna be quality as fuck but still. Konami needs to stop being Nazi as fuck with their Konami style bullshit. |

idk I'd rather it be plastic tbh... moving a full metal arm of that size, from anywhere would be expensive as shit, hell it would be like 5-6kgs? On top of the packaging and then boxes so it doesn't get damaged... shipping would be like double the actual cost of the bloody thing... ...though thinking about it, if it was all metal it would be way more than $400 on PlayAsia lmao and if you get me dat arm ima come fly to cali and give you a little cuddle Edited by baldgye, Aug 17 2015, 01:48 PM.

Oh, I don't want it to be full metal, that's dumb. I mean, like, on top of the hand and the tops of the fingers could be thin metal plates, or even aluminum, so it's ''cold'' to the touch and simulates being metal. Forearm could be plastic, since a lot of prosthetic arms are made like this. I just wish it wasn't 100$ plastic. I don't even know if the screws and swivel joints are metal... |

if it has metal internals I'm pretty sure the screws would have to be metal just so they had enough strength inside them (from a H&S pov)  it's massive compared to the 1/2 sized arm and with the tension in the fingers plastic screws would just come unthreaded pretty quickly. |

You know what, fuck it. This is the last Metal Gear we're getting. I'll keep my order. I'll try and grab yours in the winter, Pete, I'll monitor prices. Yeah, plastic is definitely easier to paint, so it'll be easier on me. And yeah it would have been neat if maybe they released packs later on that has snap on and snap off parts. Like the tops of the fingers and stuff snap off, and you can replace them with packs you buy. Konami always fuckin' up. |
