Just to say, they said you grind a lot like in Peace Walker, it gets very repetitive near the finale and the story still answers NOTHING. Also, one play through should be roughly 43 hours. Side-Ops must be ground for gear and you can get stuck in the story of your MB isn't advanced enough. Missions in general promise much, but deliver little. Lethal guns are aplenty but overall useless, as well. Also just to clarify, the reviewer says it resembles Peace Walker, which isn't bad in itself, but the PW gameplay doesn't mesh well with how open world V is. It got an 8/10.

I'm not worried about this at all. The more they say it's like PW (I knew it was going to be) the happier I get. The grinding part I'm not worried about either. I played Destiny for almost 11 months. There is no possible way TPP has as much grinding as Destiny has.

Plus, the grinding in PW was fun. I was curious what happens with the story if you don't upgrade your staff and MB enough, now I know. The story can come to a stop if you don't do enough.

Also, I can probably bet they didn't get all the tapes that a lot of the story is going to be contained in. Like they've said, the story isn't handed out to you. You have to explore and find the story yourself, which seems fun. Makes you more involved.

The amount of lethal weapons they mentioned, that seem useless. I can understand that as well. Most hardcore MGS players tend to use the tranq gun. I know I will. But, when I replay the game and certain missions, I will start to dive into all the different weapons within my arsenal.

I don't know, maybe I'm biased, but I just love the fact that we have all these weapons and gadgets as an option. It's point of the game for me. Open world stealth. Execute each mission as you please. From location, guns, gear, support, everything!

I wonder how it doesn't mesh well with the open world that is MGSV.
