I no lifed 14 hours of that game today, and I want to keep going but I have to sleep lol Honestly, regarding the narrative I see where reviewers were coming from. But I'm really enjoying it myself. It completely reminds me of a TV show with a lot of filler and then an enticing season finale every once in a while. Also, I thought it was real clever the way a certain side op tied into the main story. So far it's just great fun. It's even more fun now that mother base is actually more than one platform, things seem to be rolling now. I have a feeling the story is gonna become more prominent very soon in my playthrough.

I'll only get to spend a few hours a night with it now until the weekend, but am loving it so far Pro tip: when playing MGSV in the pause menu take the game 'offline' and you don't have to wait for the iDroid to ping there shitty fucking servers. Been trying to do every side op available except for the ones on Mother Base. It's a good thing D-Horse is available. So much traveling in this game. So far I just used the initial loadout. Any particular items or weapons you guys enjoy using?

Sniper Tranq pistol / stun arm The all the gadgets (especially dat active decoy) Then my second loadout Shotty / launcher Adamska / stun arm Really handy to have a second loadout at the ready to tackle tanks/choppers Also don't forget wonder around motherbase struts, some doors open. Found one at medical last night, it was pretty interesting! Anyone else up to episode 20 yet? (That was a sick episode) Edited by Brett, Sep 3 2015, 09:03 AM.

Tfw you've been right about most predictions so far. I fucking figured it out. Haven't even beat the game, and I know something 100% that goes from PP to Metal Gear 1. Dis mind blown. Also, something from MGS4, ties into PP and MG1, holy shit. I'ma post, and spoiler tag it, if I'm right, sheeeit feelsgoodman. Spoiler: click to toggle Venom is Big Boss from MG1, the real Big Boss is in MG2. In MGS4, Big Boss says to Solid ''Under certain conditions, someone can be amde to play a specific role.'' We wanted to know what it always meant that "From Fox two Phantoms were born". Skullface being one of them. The other being Venom! When the doctor says this face will become your "phantom". I feel like that was a major hint. Also, in MG1, Solid Snake kills him. Which would perfectly explain why BB makes a return in MG2. Also, question, does that mean the Big Boss that gave us commands in MG1 was the real BB, and he purposely led us to his "Phantom" meaning Venom Snake to dispose of him? Bro. That completes alters the reality of good and evil in this series. Also explains why BB at the end of MGS4 is not the evil person as we've been led to believe. Holy fuck. That is kind of brilliant.
