Welp, all Side-Ops are done, all S-Ranks done, and all missions done. Just need maybe 30 tasks and a few mandatory Deployment Missions and that's 100% for me. Sitting at 78% done. Aww shit, the animal extractions, forgot about those. Edited by Hoss, Sep 28 2015, 03:07 AM.

The silver and gold skins are neat. Max Stun Arm is ridiculous lol. I took out about 11 guys who were all around me.    FOB shit is lame and way too easy.

I've made a nuke yeah, got rid of it right after though cause having a nuke makes your FOB a hot spot. I don't have time for that crap. |

Ah, I want to turn daemon, but I have over 300k heroism and the number of Nukes I'd need to take it down enough would be kind of silly due to time and resources, which I'm kinda bumed about... Oh and that sub you linked is pretty interesting, well a lot more so than r/metalgear which is just a collection of tears from children |

Yeah, I don't fuck with r/mg, it's a damn nursery over there. I had been reading through the NBGO sub and there is some genuinely fun stuff in there. I don't use Reddit much but I'm glad I gave that sub a chance. And yeah, I built one nuke and my heroism is high enough (I'm at around 880k or so) that nothing really affected my demon points much. |

I've been looking through the guide and building a nuke is literally the only thing that can tank your Heroism, it's a real shame that that system has zero depth |

yeah doing that removes like 5 points but if you do the outer ops stuff that goes up like 5000+ or something everytime one is done, undoing all the killing... |

I had 400k heroism and I made a nuke. Instantly became demon snake. I dismantled it right away and still had a long horn but wasn't covered in blood. |

Your heroism level doesn't change that much, what increases is the hidden demon level. Also, the thresholds for becoming demon snake and being able to go back increase each time as well. |

<3 Also, there is one huge hole in the narrative, between the end of Quiets story and the Truth mission. Another clear indicator that there was a third chapter that never got the light of day. I imagine that the taboo was in Chapter 3 along with the Truth Mission and that Chapter 3 had more missions linked to tracking down Liquid and then ending with his huge fight after which Quiet leaves. Chapter 3 documents the change from Diamond Dogs to Outer Heaven and why Miller and Venom split (as didn't Miller go and help reform FOX or something?). |

I feel like some of the stuff in Chapter 2 was actually shit from Chapter 3. When we see Quiet being tortured, it happens, quite literally, out of left fucking field. She had already been on missions with Venom, Ocelot was fine with her, etc. Why torture her? Why now? SOMETHING happened, and we never saw what. I noticed this immediately, when the scene started to play. I said to myself ''What the fuck happened that led to this?'' over and over. There's also the missions themselves, I feel like they are out of order. especially around the end of the game, near mission 43 or so. They fee like they go Mission 51's intro (cut content) > Mission 43 > Entirety of Mission 51 leading up to the second Sally fight > Mission 45 > Mission 51's Sally fight > The Truth mission. |
