Ah, I see now, lol. And I believe Big Boss knew of The Joy's motives and general outlook, he pulled the trigger for a few reasons. He was assigned to do so, and Jack is a dog of war who follows orders without a second guess (Until MGS) . On top of this, The Joy assures him, this is how he will succeed. He has to let go. |

I know Big Boss goes after his own ideas but are they really relevant? If Zero or Big Boss just retired none of this madness would of been necessary, leading to my point about The Boss and why I love how detailed her story is, she proved War never ends and all you could do is keep hoping for peace. Big Boss and Zero don't figure that out until the end of MGS4. To me the boss was the character that knew what must be done, she was the smartest thus making her my best MGS character. Funny that people can't believe I like the boss better than BB and SS, I respect your guys opinions because you guys know more MGS then me or else I wouldn't waste my time explaining. |

Very nice ideas, I hope MGSV is not Kojima's last MGS game. Some much unexplained and incredible story's to be told, I want to see a noob Naked Snake trained by The Boss. |

Don't get me wrong, I think The Boss is a great character. But I think it's debatable wether she is flawless. She sacrifices her entire unit (The Cobras) for her goals, she essentially betrays Big Boss (tricking him into killing her, which is, in a way, very cruel), all because she feels that's the right thing to do and because she is loyal to her country. She find this loyalty more important than anything and anyone, even those who love her. Big Boss feels betrayed by her, and he wouldn't have killed her if she had told him the truth. Of course, she did it for the better of the world (or so she feels) but still, she chose loyalty over all that is human. |

The info in imdb being real or not, I think David Hayter will be in the game somehow. Kojima's explanation for choosing Kiefer Sutherland instead of David as BB was because Kiefer was a real actor and he wanted to do face capture with voice recordings. But Troy Baker will do face capture too and he is no real actor, so... |

wat Kojima said he chose Kiefer because he was in the same age range as Big Boss and was able to portray the kinds of facial movements he wanted for Big Boss, and had the ideal voice for Big Boss. mHas nothing to do with him being a ''real'' actor. And Troy Baker, and all VAs for that matter, are actors too. There is no such thing as ''real'' or ''fake'' actors... Edited by Hoss, Jun 22 2013, 12:07 AM.

During the Kojima Productions Alert 4, the official podcast of the studio, the staff provided a summary of information from several interviews with Kojima. Here’s the recap: Metal Gear Solid V will interact with smart devices in some form (smart phones, tablets). Sean Eyestone: “That will be kind of a window into the world of MGSV. Exactly what you can do with that we’re not ready to announce just yet, but know that there will be various aspects of the game that can interact with your various portable devices. And there will also be some social aspects to that as well.” The fact that it’s an open world game has to do with this. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s key art was made by Kyle Cooper, Kojima came up with the concept of the x-ray. Kooper is working on other things for the game as well, but they can’t say what they are.  What you saw at E3 was targeted for current gen, so what you will get on current gen systems will be very close to that. The Xbox One and PS4 versions will look better than what you have seen.  The girl undergoing surgery is Paz (from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker). All the action in that scene is very realistic because they had an actual doctor during the motion capture session, who brought his medical kit. He was instructing the motion actors during this scene. The Seiko watch Snake is wearing will be available as merchandise in the future. I spent a good while looking for that wath second hand, guessing by that that it's a new design and given now much the MGS4 and MGR watches where it's not going to be cheap, but least it will be nice |

It's an existing design actually, but this one does look a bit different. But it's called the Seiko Digiborg. |
