Thank you sir. I love your work a lot. I hope you will continue to do crazy stuff with reports and stuff about Metal Gear. baldgye,
I don't care too. Even if Kojima will announce that MGSV will come in 5 different editions I'm still going to buy all Metal Gears at launch. I'm talking about Hideo Kojima's and Kojima Productions reputation as a whole. The thing is, selling two games that look too similar to each other can be a bad move for journalists and most of the gamers. Look at the Quiet situation. How much people bitch about Quiet's look even if they don't know about character at all and all of them forgot how Meryl looks great in Kojima games. Like a real female soldier. I just don't want Kojima's reputation to have damage at what he is doing right now. In my opinion he is already at the line where people will start to freak out about his decisions. |

The Gameplay Presentation for GZ, for those who missed it like me (Apparently it was running on 60FPS on NicoDouga): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKCzt3W5fuc (Skip to 2:30:16) I love it. I was worried the game might lose some of it quirks, but its there. The gameplay looks really fluid, CQC was great! I have just one gripe though, no idea if they are playing on easy difficulty, but that slo-mo effect when getting detected was just border-line HAX. It actually auto-aims on the enemy and is not very short as reported by journalists. |

I really hope you can have the marking system blocked in a harder a difficulty. I'd rather play without it, as it looks like it makes the game too easy to navigate enemies (like splinter cell) I know you could just "not use it" but it'll be one of the mechanics that just become a habit. The map switch between digital and satellite is really cool, fuck calling in a chopper to rescue hostages, what happened to that fulton recovery system haha I wish I knew what was being said throughout this performance, both commentary and game audio Edited by Brett, Sep 19 2013, 10:46 AM.

I liked the demo. But few issues: 1) Marks are a horrible idea for now. That idea existed long before Splinter Cell. Like in Crysis 1 for example. But that mechanic is just horrible. It's a cheat and I don't like the fact that you can see the distance of the enemies. 2) Issues with animation. First of all I hated the moment when there was a teleportation thing when Snake tried to grab enemy and kill it. 3) I want to see if Snake could kill enemy through tents or current gen tech are indeed not there yet? =/ Liked gigantic maps, vehicles, helicopter moment. Slo-mo is a very interesting idea although so far it helps more player than it should. Edited by Golgari, Sep 19 2013, 12:09 PM.

thoughts as I'm watching -the new HUD is really awesome... you can see elements of PW -love the speed of snake -the new slow-mo mechanic is really nice and allows you to make the actions of an actual solder as adept as snake -love LOVE the iconography Really nice demo, game looks fantastic.. can't wait to hear/watch the English version. |

i don't speak Japanese, but a youtube user posted this coment: A part of translation: We realized the system if you're exposed to the searchlight they'll alert. this couldn't be realized until previous MGS. If you see the horizontal lens flare, don't move or you'll be alerted. you're able to do jump this time. If you're carrying an unconscious enemy, you have more camouflage. You can call a chopper anywhere you want. Enemies can destroy it so think before you call it. you can customize it like mounting a minigun etc. The POW he saved was fake in this demo. |

I loved the demo. The fact that Kojima is making an open world stealth game is already a remarkable achievement. But the game has some issues with animation and hit boxes. I hope to god that everything will be fixed. The fact that you throw something at the enemy and don't 100% hit it and have good results is a huge issue. That is not supposed to happen. |

Lol, yeah, I dunno how Google TRanslate is so damn horrible. The horrors of most online translators make me glad I can read Japanese lol. I would hate to have to rely on translators, or wait for translations. |
