Shame there isn't any Shinkawa artwork on the cover  There seems to be a trend against it lately. Only one region actually got MGS4 with the artwork on the case(PAL). I haven't seen a Peace Walker case with it on either. They seem to be getting pushed out in favor of fully rendered 3D images. Best game case ever. Spoiler: click to toggle "Kojima initially wanted to launch MGSV shortly after Peace Walker, for either the PSP or the PS3. But due to development issues and the next generation being close, the game ended up as it is now." Extremely interesting. I had a hunch that this was going to happen after completing PW in the HD collection. Rising did have a steelbook with Shinkawa art though. And the UK LE had Shinkawa art as well. |

Well, I'm not sure were in the world you are but the states and Japan get the full focus of MGS games and europe comes in 3rd which i'm in myself (Ireland). I don't like downloading games myself if I can buy them boxed. |

I'm in Europe, but I don't feel we come third when it comes to MGS. We usually get pretty cool collector's editions. |

Well, Japan is definitely first, as once again proven by the fact that they have 3 retail versions of GZ, and we have none. |

Oh right. It probably isn't my place to comment on the boxes or box arts in general. Since everyone here in an adept collector. But I'll push it. I still believe that Shinkawa art has been pushed away a bit in favor of the full renders. |

Maybe, but it seems to be still used for collector's editions. Which makes sense, because those are fans and collectors, they will get the game anyway. |

Yeah, I love the series way more than most. But I don't get the collectors editions. So I wouldn't see it as much. And neither would most people. |

Yes, agreed. I prefer it to the EU one. I would rather we had the Japanese cover appear in the collection than the EU one. It looks like possibly Shinkawa work at the bottom and a render of Snake. Also, a friend told me today that there might be a possibility that the west wont get Kaz on the front cover of GZ? That is a great shame.

the peace walker cover in america isn't bad either. the worst one is the american mgs4 box and the LE imo was a disappointing package the box itself with the shinkawa art is cool but the game case is still the render of old snake's face looking at you. idk i was so jelly that europeans got a cool ass cover. |
