you know i totally forgot about mgs3 lol. eh it had a mix of a game modeled snake and a shinkawa art of a tree and eyes lol. but yea that cover did suck. but mgs4 is kinda worse imo. its just snake's face zoomed in looking at you. i don't need to be super duper close to an old man's face that isn't a shinkawa artwork. |

It is crazy how many you have 0.o I don't really collect anything, I am slowly turning digital only. But Metal Gear is different, I own every PAL case for the main titles since MGS1 so I can't end that now. Especially with how cool the cases are(In Europe at least). So the theme of the legacy Metal Gear Series 1-4 was identity and what we inherit. What is the theme of the new series? and did it actually start with Peace Walker? Peace Walker's main theme was peace and deterrence. Peace Walker explores what happens before a conflict. Ground Zeroes is going to actually display the conflict, the big hit that sparks the next game. Phantom Pain is about Revenge, or retaliation. So is the new theme conflict? Or battle. Very pleased to be getting bullet drop for all weapons in MGSV. MGS4 gameplay is great fun and it masters game feel, but it is way too easy to pick people off at long distances(Like Act2 first area). Because of this you aren't really forced to think and utilize clever tactics. Kojima says Ground Zero is the point when Big Boss changes and becomes evil. I don't get it. Ground Zero should have been the end of MGS3. The Boss's death and the betrayal of Eva effectively presented a possible point which set Big Boss on the road to evil. I don't think he said Big Boss became 'evil'. After MGS3, something was set into motion that would eventually lead to Outer Heaven. It's a gradual change, not a sudden one. Other factors contributed to this, such as his falling out with Zero and the Les Enfants Terribles project. |

I know, but at the end of MGS3. I think most of us thought "Wow, this guy is definitely going to kill children in the future". It was already an effective Ground Zero. |
