I hope so, I'd like to see some questions answered. And he's going to explain the lack of Hayter.

Hopefully he'll confirm that the voice in the gameplay trailer was a placeholder and that they're getting Doyle back for the game

CYGAN THEN

All this changing around is just not good.. they already established old bb's voice.. If Cygan did it in 4 then that would've been great but using Cygan now after Doyle did it..

At the same time I can't say I'd be upset if Cygan did it

Do you guys remember that interview with Kojima when he said episodic content could be useful in this generation?

http://metalgearsolid.nl/?p=6739

What if GZ is just a downloadable smaller game about the fall of mother base and such and then some time later MGSV comes starting out like the GDC's gameplay demo ?

Ignore him, he plays WoW. He knows not the importance of good VA.

Not sure I would like that. Just release it as one full game.

Stolen from 4chan:

Quote:

>Gray Fox-Rhodesian Civil War
>XOF has Rhodesian Ridgebacks
>A Ridgeback was next to BB in the first concept art
>Britain controlled Rhodesia, BB wakes up in a hospital with the British flag

Ishmael confirmed for Gray Fox.

Now, add this piece of speculation to the following from the wiki.

Quote:

The name "Diamond Dogs" is possibly a reference to a David Bowie song, of which two references have previously been made in the series: specifically Zero adopting the name of "Major Tom" during the Virtuous Mission, and Para-Medic asking whether Naked Snake had seen the movie My Mother Is a Teenage Spider Queen from Mars (referring to his band "The Spiders from Mars"). It might also be a reference to blood diamonds, which are diamonds that are mined and sold in countries where a major conflict, whether it be an insurgency, an invading army's war effort, or a tyrant, in hotspots, usually within Africa. Both potential origins of the name are acknowledged in a recent issue of PSM3 magazine, which also speculated that the setting of the next Metal Gear game will take place in Angola (alluded to in a secret conversation after the second ending of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker) and that the conflict will relate to the location of the world's biggest diamond mines.

What do you reckon?

You can tell me, man, what’s the English for sotter, or greip, or smore, or pleiter, gloaming or glunching or well-henspeckled? And if you said gloaming was sunset you’d fair be a liar.

I think there's a good chance Ishmael is Gray Fox, and also that we will see young Naomi in this game.

Only problem with that is, that isn't a Rhodesian Ridgeback. One, the head is nothing like a Ridgeback's head, and two, Ridgeback's are not gray.

The dog in THIS image, however, is a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

The game playing out events only mentioned earlier in the series, that's actually very intriguing.

Here's a thought. Why would the soldier have an American accent if they're in Rhodesia/British Africa? Unless he's Gray Fox, who had a clear American accent in Portable Ops.

Here's another: Big twist in the game is that when you escape, you will discover that during the coma the LET project took place and Solid and Liquid are 11 year old kids.

UNLESS

Accelerated ageing. They're already in the army. You might even meet Solidus, although he was kicking about somewhere in Liberia during the Civil War which took place a number of years later. That's not to say he didn't start off in Rhodesia with Big Boss and head out there when war broke out.

Well... Gray Fox is American.

As for LET, that has happened BEFORE MGSV, since that was in 1972.

What if the gentleman with the bandages is really Solidus? Also, Gray Fox seems to have been a child in Mozambique rather than the USA.

Solidus aged much faster than his brothers, so again, maybe Ishmael is Solidus.

He might be a white Mozambican, like Raiden was a white Liberian.

Nope. That's actually the reason why he leaves the Patriots to begin with.

Except... Raiden is listed, canonically, as Liberian-American. Kojima has stated Raiden was born in Liberia, but has American parents, so he made him Liberian-American. Frank Jaeger is listed as nothing more than American.

He's American, bro. (Though, oddly enough his parents are of German-American and Vietnamese decent.)
