Unless he's Gray Fox, who had a clear American accent in Portable Ops. Here's another: Big twist in the game is that when you escape, you will discover that during the coma the LET project took place and Solid and Liquid are 11 year old kids. UNLESS Accelerated ageing. They're already in the army. You might even meet Solidus, although he was kicking about somewhere in Liberia during the Civil War which took place a number of years later. Kojima has stated Raiden was born in Liberia, but has American parents, so he made him Liberian-American. Frank Jaeger is listed as nothing more than American. He's American, bro.
