What if the gentleman with the bandages is really Solidus? Also, Gray Fox seems to have been a child in Mozambique rather than the USA.

Solidus aged much faster than his brothers, so again, maybe Ishmael is Solidus.

My understanding was that the game took place in 1983, 9 years after MGS: Ground Zeroes i.e. 1972.

Now... that's not to say that XOF aren't related in any way to a Patriot retribution against Big Boss leaving, so they put him in a coma... or again that's unrelated. He obviously wasn't aware of the creation of the twin snakes, because it was the last straw - he would never have gone under the knife unless it happened when he wasn't aware of it i.e. when he was in a coma.

Ishmael could still be Gray Fox, but Big Boss meets the twin snakes... then he leaves the Patriots.

Hahahaha I wasn't necessarily calling you Cartman, it's more of a reference towards him because he's the only member (pretty much, besides you) who hasn't beaten Peace Walker yet.

What? Dude, The Les Enfants Terribles project took place in 1972. Ground Zeroes can't take place in 1972, because Peace Walker was set in 1974 and Ground Zeroes is set after Peace Walker. So, what you're saying is impossible to even happen.

Is the MGS V coma the Les Enfants Terribles / coma?
Les Enfants Terribles / coma happened in 1972.
Peace Walker is set in 1974 in Costa Rica just two years after the events of the Les Enfants Terribles project..
If MGS Ground Zeroes is some time after Peace Walker and Phantom Pain is 9 years after that?
Ether Big Boss has had two comas or there retconning the Les Enfants Terribles / coma to sometime around 1975?

Actually from what I understand LET didn't happen while BB was in a coma. That's a translation error for the English version of MGS1. But I'm not sure if that makes it canon or not.

This is what I think they’re going to do.

1970- Portabal 0ps (San Hieronymo Takeover)

1972- The Les Enfants Terribles program start. This would without Big Boss’s involvement there just doing tests and experimentation at this point. (The project was sponsored by Zero)

1974- Peace Walker (Militaires Sans Frontières (Soldiers Without Borders) and Outer Heaven)

1975- Ground Zeroes/ coma / Big Boss’s involvement in the Les Enfants Terribles project. (The project was carried out by Dr. Clark (Para-medic ) and any sort of team she may have had. EVA was used as Surrogate mother.)

1984- Phantom Pain.

But If Nyxus is right and the coma is not connected to BB involvement of the Les Enfants Terribles project. Then Big Boss’s involvement could of happen at any time between 1972-1984.

This would make it hard to pin down the ages of Liquid & Solid. But if Big Boss’s involvement in the Les Enfants Terribles was 1975 add 9 months and we have a rough idea that they were born between 1975-1976.
