As soon as the portal opened, Rusty emerged, hooded and covered by his jacket and bandanna mask. There it was. Something he hadn't seen in nearly four months. The front doors to the Duct Tape. He smiled fondly under his mask, but the reason for him being there jolted him out of the nostalgia. Wordlessly, he walked over, set of keys emerging from his pocket and with a quick twist, he was inside. Everything was as he left it, which was awesome. He could have sworn that the N.O.L would have searched a bit more thoroughly, but that was when they hadn't considered him a threat. Right now though, they had to hurry. No doubt his entrance had already been reported and they were just waiting on their orders to fire. Opening the stock room door, he instantly began to take out various tool boxes, filled with tools arranged in neat, ordered rows. Some had pictures of guns on them, others had swords, some had engines, all were tools of great importance to Rusty. The rocker looked around the darkened room, wondering when the others would get here and just kept piling up the various toolkits. Thinking quickly, he also began to gather as many raw materials as possible. He had to make his new weapon after all. Amusingly, his Soul Pick, glowing due to his happiness at being back in his beloved shop, was acting as a sort of semi flashlight, helping him not trip over anything in the darkness. But he couldn't get attached again. Not now. Not when, in all likelihood, the place would no longer exist after tonight. "Son of a bitch people, hurry it up." he muttered in his still gravelly as all hell voice. "We got work to do." He went about unlocking the various shelves and doors, so that everyone would have full access to whatever he needed. They needed to be fast. |

A swirling portal opens and Ragna and Tsubaki step through. Ragna grips her by the shoulder and stalls her with a glance. "Go on ahead. I'll stay out here and watch for whatever shit the NOL's about to pull." Tsubaki nods and rises up to kiss him on the lips. "Be careful." "Tch. It's me. You ain't gotta worry about a thing." Chuckling, Tsubaki enters the Duct Tape and glances around. "Rust? Are you here?" |

What.

Another portal opens up and deposits Albus in front of the store. He smirks at the sight of the mechanic's workplace. 'Well, let's go.' As he walked to the doors, Ragna caught his eye. He looked him over as he approached and whistled in approval. "My my my, Rachel wasn't kidding, you are here." He said as though he doubted the vampire's word. "Wish we could introduce ourselves better but, ah, we need to hurry." He slipped past the rebel and lazily threw his arm behind his shoulder to show him that he was still talking. "I'm the new guy, by the way. Name's Albus. Just to warn ya, Air Corps and Airbourne Marines are on their way." As he reached the windows, he paused. "Oh, and if anyone starts charging the Duct Tape, lead'em to the windows. They'll get a pleasant surprise." He drawled sarcastically. Deciding it was worth rigging the windows in case any infantry were sent to the shop, Albus brought a finger to the glass. It appeared as though it did nothing, but he was actually injecting it with dose seither, courtesy of his armagus: the glass shards. He went to the window on the other side of the door and did the same. With his trap set, Albus casually walked into the Duct Tape, and promptly bellowed "Daddy's home!" upon entering. "Yo Rusty!" He called. "What do you need me to grab?" Edited by GenocidalWurmpleArakune, Jul 3 2012, 10:51 PM.

Rusty looked over as Tsubaki entered, offering a non-commital grunt, however when Albus walked in, it was a different story entirely. "Amaterasu! Shout a little louder, Albus, I don't think the people in Yabiko heard you yet!" Rusty cursed, notably not getting on Albus' case for calling him Rusty. "Make yourself useful. These toolboxes. All labelled with what they fix on the front. I'm going to need the biggest one of each. I can't take all of them, but if I can take the biggest from each section, I should be able to make do." He looked over at Tsubaki, eyes serious. "Yayoi, I'm gonna need you to head into the side room over there. There'll be a cupboard or two with seithr kit. Need that outside ASAP please." Tossing her the key, Rusty went back to work, focusing on a nearby checklist and checking the time anxiously. "Alright, need some of those and that stuff and them..." he muttered, storing it in his back pocket and fetching the items to add to the growing pile. |

Tsubaki snatches the key out of the air and nods, fighting back a scowl. "On it, Rust." She scavenges the side room, quickly locating the seithr kits. She takes them and scurries back outside to place them by Ragna. "Watch these, please." "Gotcha." She heads back inside, wondering what to do next. |

What.

"Oi, don't get me started with how loud I can be." Albus taunted with a giant grin. "I once broke a glass with my voice!" That's a lie. "Hyvä, I'm on it." Albus said. He grabbed the largest box with the picture of a sword and lifted it with some effort. He maneuvered his way outside and dropped his load a few feet from Ragna. "Keep an eye on that, kay?" He turned on his heel and reentered the Duct Tape, finding the largest box with the picture of a gun and bringing that outside as well. Spoiler: click to toggle

Nodding at the progress, Rusty kept looking about, getting various parts and dumping them outside, very pointedly not looking at Ragna. "Alright, nearly done with the minor shit..." he muttered. "Albus, gonna need your help with moving a couple of heavy machinery. Yayoi, if you could head upstairs and just double check that the majority of stuff is cleared, that'd be great." Anxiously, the mechanic peered outside again. He couldn't see anything in there, but his Soul Pick glowed through his shirt brightly regardless. This is gonna go so bad...I just know it. He grimaced. Getting a bad feeling, he jogged out the back door, towards the warehouses, just to double check his stuff. It was mostly training items, but he always kept a few bags of clothing there in case he needed to sleep in there for some reason. Grabbing them, he began to march back. So far so good. Just hopefully the other two don't ask me or Albus questions and we should get out of here without an argument causing our cover to get blown. |

Noting to herself to ask Rust about his coldness towards her, Tsubaki headed up to the second story without a word. She scoured the rooms up above. After finding nothing of value or use, she headed back downstairs. Outside, Ragna gripped Blood-Scythe. Shit was going to go down; he could just feel it. |

What.

"Rusty, where's this machinery at?" Albus questioned. He was holding the end of his scarf and fiddling slightly with it. He, too, was getting antsy. 'Ifreann...this feel's...bad...' Spoiler: click to toggle

The sunlight fades. It takes a moment to realize, but overhead there is something simply enormous: beyond scale, clouds forming underneath a gargantuan bronze terrace that encircles a colossal sphere. Light fractures on its surface and splays in every color off the smooth curves, spilling rainbows from the mathmatically perfect geometry. It hangs in between Wadatsumi and the sun, cruising forward without visible means of locomotion, and on the ringing terrance faint motions draw the eye. A ripple of violet flows over the heavenly sphere, and in the distance, a cannon on the terrance, made toylike by the impossible scale of the sphere, points down at them and flashes. Then a solid wave of light slams into the Duct Tape and shears the top half of it entirely off, bringing the structure tumbling down, as tiny dots begin to fall from the undersides of the terrance. A moment later they thud into the city streets and roofs, bulletlike seeds that punch through structures easily. When they open it is to reveal fully-armored NOL soldiers, cocooned in the dropseeds like dragonfly larvae, each bearing a heavy blade, a repeating carbine, and fanaticism burning in their eyes behind steel masks. |
Class. Dig it up, dust it off, hang that shit crooked on an ear. My halo's a land mine rind, amigo.
