"Yeah, pretty much." Rusty nodded. "I apologise in advance if it sends you into apoplexy though." Forcing himself to his tired feet, the mechanic swiped up a couple of schematics in his hand and handed them to the wolf beastkin. "Basically, looking at two small versions of a flamethrower, but with enough propellant that I can fire it out sometimes as a proper projectile." Rusty muttered, rubbing his eyes again. "I know it sounds stupid when I say it aloud but I think I managed to get the majority of the details down on the paper there." And indeed he had, calculations and material ideas for the two flame jets not looking nearly as stupid as Rusty's explanation. Looking at the weapon itself, the two cylindrical gaps near the axe heads indicated where said jets would be placed upon completion. "In your expert opinion, mate...feasible?" |

Taking the schematics, Micah looked them over with a critical eye. Turning them this way and that, he started to put together a rough plan of action... and then he stopped. Looking up at Rust, one ear kind of drooping, he asked, "Well, it's feasible. But, uh, where's the fuel supposed to go? I mean, you have a reserve at the back of each tube, but that won't last more than maybe five minutes as a flamethrower, or three shots in fireball mode."

Rusty flipped the paper over, detailing THAT particular point. "Storage seals. Jagd gave me the idea a few days ago when we attacked HQ. He had several hundred grafted onto his hairs and stuff so it shouldn't be that hard to place some inside the barrel and engineer it that whenever I need to reload, I can just release some more from the seal, like a tap or faucet or something like that." The mechanic's eyes glazed over for a moment and he wobbled. "Holy crap, I'm tired...what's the time?" |

Micah's ears dip as part of a general expression of concern that crosses his face. He pulls out a watch that he'd apparently retrieved at some point from his personal affects, and consults it with a deepening frown. "Ten-thirty AM Wadatsumi time. How long have you been awake?" |

"Ten thirty AM?!" Rusty exclaimed, staring. He groaned and rubbed at his head. "Lemme think... Des knocked me out about five hours ago...I woke up three hours ago... Technically, I've been awake now for roughly twenty hours of work." The mechanic blinked again, then offered a nervous chuckle. "Err... may go grab some shut eye. Are those notes gonna be enough for you, or do you need some more details?" |

Smiling, Micah nods. "I should be just fine. The storage seals will be the tricky part, but..." He's interrupted by a sudden-onset yawn, a side effect of his own recent sleep deprivation. Giving Rusty a sheepish sort of smile, he says, "Sorry about that. I can probably get the actual mechanics of the flamethrowers done today, but maybe I should wait on those storage seals. I don't have much practice with them myself, but Mr. Metschulin did inspire me to look into them - having him unfold that Ma Deuce on my counter was... ah, somewhat impressive." |

"Ah, he showed you the M2 Browning." Rusty nodded in understanding. "Yeah, one hell of a gun. He needs to nickname that puppy soon, cause's it's saved his ass so many times." The mechanic wobbled slightly again. "Yeah... I'm going to catch some shut eye. Feel free to grab some tea or whatever, use the place as your own along with the tools." The rocker yawned and dragged himself into a separate room. "In a bit, Micah." -FOUR HOURS LATER- Stretching as he exited the small bedroom, Rusty smacked his lips together a few times before instinctively starting to make a cup of tea. "Doing good, mate?" |

Dozing on the chair next to where Rust's new weapon lay, Micah started awake. After checking to make sure he hadn't knocked anything off the workbench, he turns his attention to the mechanic. "Well, I got some hardware laid out. Was having trouble with the mix nozzles, so I kind of simplified them a bit - shouldn't make any difference as far as performance. Valves, fuel feeds, and the reserve tanks are all hooked together for preliminary tests. Then we can put the storage seals in and put them in the casings." He gestures to a cluster of parts on the workbench, all hooked together with flexible metal hose. "You want to take a look?" |

"Sure thing." Rusty grinned, finishing making the cups of tea and handing one to Micah. "My tea ain't as good as it could be, but it's decent enough for now. You deserve it, man." Walking over to the workbench, the mechanic whistled in appreciation of the gun smith's work. "Hot damn, Micah. No wonder you managed to steal all my gunslinger customers. I honestly didn't know the mix nozzles could be altered like that. That makes my life a hell of a lot easier. And hell, you've made them even lighter than expected... You, my friend, are a gun wizard. No doubt about it." In awe of Micah's skill (easily appreciated by himself, being a mechanic and all), the rocker gently picked up one of the jets and gently disconnected it before weighing it in his hand. "Yeah, this is absolutely perfect. Whadda I owe you?" |

Micah gives Rust a tired sort of smile as he gratefully accepts the tea. "Thanks. I'm not normally one for tea, but it's probably better for me than what I've been drinking." He laughs, before hesitantly taking a sip. He nods, evidently impressed. "You should be less modest. This is very good." Listening as Rust examines the design, he chuckles. "Well, I'm no wizard, but I did grow up around this sort of thing. Dad used to do all sorts of weapons for the Wadatsumi Police Department, and flamethrowers were a bit of a specialty of his. Can't say I've done too many myself, but I do know a thing or two." He shrugs as Rust mentions money. "Don't worry yourself about payment. Ain't gonna be much money coming in for any of us in the near future, so you save it for something else." |
