With a clatter, Rusty fell to the floor on his back. "Son of a BITCH!" he yelled out, frustrated. He didn't want to have been shown to be THIS bad! Quickly getting up again, he tried to breathe in and out, trying to calm down. "I know, I know. Solid foundation to stop you getting knocked off balance. I know." he tried to reassure Jagd, before poking forward with a feint, jabbing forward again, before swinging round with the flat of the blade aimed at Jagd's midsection. |

Jagd nods, unbothered. "True observation. Reminder unnecessary." He resets his guard and waits. The poke he backsteps, getting out of easy range, and the follow up swing is met by a mirrored swipe from Jagd, the axeheads clashing hard enough to send shocks up their arms. "If foe's defense solid, must break guard somehow." Jagd notes. "Distract. Daze. Change battlefield. Do not get locked up." |

Straining against the blade lock, the mechanic listened to the mercenary. "Break guard...huh?" Rusty got out through gritted teeth as muscles surged. "Change battlefield? How about changing weapon?" He twisted his wrist. With a click, the bladelock was abruptly taken off balance by Metallica splitting itself in two. Reacting quickly, having expected it, Rusty reached round and grabbed Moody Blue by the halved handle, now using all his strength in keeping Red Special locked with Jagd's axe. With a grunt, Rusty span out of the blade lock, hoping the unbalancing would continue and brought the blunt part of Moody Blue down towards Jagd's head. |

Jagd steps in as Rust starts to turn, right into the other man's back, and spins right with him, staying behind Rust all the way. "Spinning in close unwise." he points out. "Never turn back on foe." |

Rusty, kind of expecting this since he had already made the back turning mistake with Yayoi a few months back, just responded the best way he knew how. Lashing out backwards with a reverse headbutt, metal port gleaming slightly as it caught the light. |

Since Rust is smaller, the metal port smacks right into Jagd's mouth, hard enough to split his lips on his teeth. Jagd blinks in response, and then punches Rust in the kidney. |

With a gasp, Rusty fell to the ground, clutching his side with Moody Blue slipping from his grasp. It felt like the worst hangover ever, the build up in his kidney suddenly forced out back into his bloodstream. He felt nauseous and achey, his head pounding. Still, despite all that... "...two-one..." Grunting, he used Red Special to pick himself up, before shaking his head slightly to try and clear his splitting headache. He looked at Jagd. "First to three?" |

Jagd shrugs and nods, hefting his axe again. "Full out or spar?" he asks. "Can oblige either." Blood runs from his mouth. He doesn't notice it or doesn't care. |

Rusty mulled it over. "Y'know...You're bleeding from the mouth, I'm nearly seeing double and feeling like I'm going through a hangover backwards. Might as well go all out, right?" Giving a small grin, the mechanic held out Red Special like a challenge, making no move to retrieve Moody Blue from behind Jagd. "So...kid gloves are off?" |

Jagd considers this. "Fair enough." he agrees then releases his axe for a split second, long enough for his hand to dart back into his shirt. It draws up and reveals an underarm holster that he pulls a heavy pistol out of. Meanwhile, he punts the axe at Rust's face. |
