Having worked his way to a seat, Micah's response to Epsilon's spectacularly bizarre entrance is a raised eyebrow. He was having trouble parsing the rapid speech, and the way that Epsilon seemed to ramble raised some red flag's in Micah's mind. The engineer seemed relatively harmless, at least.

Smiling and nodding as Siobhana introduces him, he says, "A pleasure to meet all of you." He leans back in his chair, meeting each of the others' eyes in turn.

As Albus announced his sister's kidnapping, Micah's heart sank. Having a sister himself, he couldn't imagine how he'd react if he were placed in the same situation. He stayed quiet, but his face showed his concern.

Epsilon catches Michah's reaction and smiles before pointing at his head and saying quickly, "Entropy reactors stuck a manifestation of Maxwell's Demon in my head. Keeps whining about order and stuff and..." He stops and waves his hand dismissively, "You won't have to deal with Max, so don't worry."

Epsilon glances over at Albus and gives him a frown. "Your sister? Who's got her? The NOL? Where?" he asks rapidly, "And how can we help?" He points at Jagd and snickers, "Provided, of course, help means 'blow shit the fuck up' or 'kick down perfectly serviceable doors." His snickers fade and he adds, more seriously, "But really, anything we can do to help you out? I, er, don't really know you very well, but you seem like an okay guy and if everyone else here isn't giving you the stink eye," he glances furtively at Jin, "then you're fine in my books."

Jagd tilts his head impatiently at the group now swarming the former NOL cadet. "Evident. Provide information. How? Where? Method of discovery? Relevant datum."

Siobhana sighs and turns away from the entire mess to face Rachel and Jin, the only two largely unaffected by Albus's crisis and the two most relevant members of the group. "Introductions therefore finished," she says, "I will have Jagd send out missions to two seperate areas: a refueling Air Corps station so that we may reclaim a Shebalve, granting once again the advantage of a secondary transport - which will lighten the load on you, Rachel. And second, to an arms depot just outside Kagetsuchi, where Sureshot will reclaim ammo presses and transport them back here, rendering us largely self-sufficient."

Rachel nods in response. "A lighter transport load would be desireable, yes." she admits. "Would this be taking place at the same time as Nu's planned attack on the Arcturus station?"

"Indeed." Siobhana replies. "It would prevent Arcturus from providing reinforcements to either location."

Rachel bites her lip momentarily, then nods.

They had his sister.

That was enough.

Rusty walked away from the small group, towards the main "command centre" of Rachel, Jin and Siobhana. Moody Blue and Red Special still crossed at his back, he faced all three.

"And third, a mission for Oksana. She's part of Albus' family. We can't just leave her high and dry out there."

The mechanic just realised where the hell he was and his shoulders slumped slightly, though his face was still angry.

"I get the feeling she's going to be classed second priority, isn't she?" he asked, a low growl in his voice.

Desmond gives a bit of a shrug. "It does not matter what designation Rachel gives it, Rust. You seem to be unwilling to bend on going, and if you do, I will accompany you. There should not be an undue amount of NOL forces protecting them."

Chuckling softly, Desmond leans back. "And I do have some experience in exfiltration, as I'm sure you remember."

Turning to Rachel, Desmond poses the question to her. "Will your plans for the other missions allow for us three to be absent? Aside from Rust, none of us are irreplaceable. And if not...then it would be possible for me to accomplish the mission myself. It might even be easier that way."
Tune your ear to the frequency of despair, and cross-reference by the longitude and latitude of a heart in agony.

What.
The comments and reactions to his announcement manage to calm Albus down. Having other people immediately wanting to save his sister is reassuring to the linguist.

"Nein, Rusty, you can't go." He said with as shake of his head. He walks over to the nearest chair, explaining as he goes. "It's a trap. Just the way they made the call makes me know it's a trap. And my reaction means they probably know I know it's a trap."

He pulls out the chair and collapses, running a hand through his bangs. "The voice on the other end. It was sis', through and through. But there's no way in hell the person speaking on the other line was Oksana. She was practically emotionless, made a request to see me in an odd location when she knows I can't see her, and when I asked her what language I always called her sister in- which I asked because I was suspicious- she hung up."

He heaved a sigh, shifting his gaze to Rachel. "Rachel. You know that I'm not taking 'no' or 'we would be wise to wait' or any bullshit like that. They've got my sis, and you know better than any of us what these people could do to her if I don't even try to save her. But I'm not stupid. Even though Terumi him fucking self could be there for all we know, I know trying to bring Ragna or Tager or something really damn strong and important is just stupid, especially if you already have plans for them."

He pauses for a moment. "Claro, I can't just bring a whole team of us underdogs or if someone like Terumi is there, we're really fucked. We need to balance the importance of who we send with their power. If we can just get sis out of there, I'm cool. In fact, I'll probably be forever in the debt of everyone that helps."

"I know why they had this fake be the person on the other end. Their trying to make me freak out and do something stupid." He made a toothy smirk. "Well, that fell short. I'm open to whatever you say, Rachel."

Epsilon glances between everyone and shrugs. "Uh, what should I do guys?" he asks politely. "Got anymore shit that needs patching up? I can help work on just about anything I have experience with..." He starts ticking off his fingers, "Machines, generators, medicine, people..." he stops and chuckles, "Well, enhancements to people anyway."

Unsure, Epsilon rocks back and forth on his heels, "I'd also like a chance to kick ass with Jagd and Rust and shit, but..." He looks glumly at the floor and shrugs. "The Geneva Accord banned the killing of medics in combat. And on page one of "How to Fight a War" is Kill The Medics."

Micah, meanwhile, has been sitting quietly for much of this time. He nods as the munitions presses are mentioned, frowning deeply, but stays silent as Albus's sister is being discussed. However, after Epsilon adds his contribution, Micah speaks up. "We can't be certain that our opponent has even heard of the Geneva Convention, nor that they would be willing to follow it even if they had. They're little better than a military junta at this point."

Shrugging, he continues, "That said, having a medic on the front lines would be extremely beneficial - does anyone else that will be going have any sort of first aid experience? Perhaps Mr. Lorenz can give those people a rundown on some ways to deal with battlefield trauma."

He snorts and says, "I've already had first-hand experience on how to deal with a gunshot wound, so I could probably help out to an extent."

Jagd shrugs. "Obvious trap. Agreed. Bait too precious to avoid. If Oksana not extracted process will repeat - defines 'expendable assets' for enemy. Notice will be taken. In addition, opponent likely to deploy considerable assets. With Arcturus preoccupied, chance is present for damaging assets."

Rachel leans back into her chair and closes her eyes. "I cannot say I am fond of this course of action." she replies after a moment. "But the more directions we move at once, the more damage we shall do to our foe - they cannot match our mobility. Therefore I am approving this rescue operation. Mr. Scaslivy, I believe you are correct, this smacks of Terumi's doing, so I would suggest finding a way to persuade at least one of the more powerful members into joining you. None of you would last long against him. Including you, Mr. Lang, regardless of your predilection for stealth. Terumi has over a century of experience with assassins. Your talent, and your life, would be wasted."

Siobhana raises an eyebrow at Epsilon. "Uncertainty, Mr. Lorenz?" she says, droll. "How marvelous. Yet I assure you this mansion will have quite enough people adept at sitting and drinking tea, even without you. Apply yourself to your heart's passion. I am quite certain there is something you can make explode out there. And even if not, should we manage to capture a Shebalve, you would be of great use in ensuring that it is actually capable of flight back to our headquarters, rather than having it crash halfway."

Biting at his lip as Albus and Desmond basically said he couldn't go, Rusty balled his fists until they shook a little. He could see where they were coming from, he wasn't an idiot. Right now, his actions had basically gotten him plastered all over the news. He was a major target right now and to go off on a surefire trap? With a weapon he wasn't used to? Against a guy who by all accounts was Bad News?

"God damn it..." he muttered, finally hanging his head. "Sorry Albus... Gah..."

Turning from Rachel, he slung himself into a seat, obviously disappointed. The mechanic looked helpless as he wondered what exactly he could even do here. He couldn't just be some sacred cow, never allowed out for fear of death or injury. He had to be doing SOMETHING! He helped start this shit, for crying out loud!

God damn it, God Damn It, GOD DAMN IT!!!!

He tightened his balled up fist again, resting it on the table before raising his other hand to rub at his forehead a little.

"So what CAN I do?!" There's got to be something! What about those other two missions? The Shebalve and the ammo stuff? Can I go on one of those or something? Hell, I basically already pulled the ammo one off before when we exacuated the Duct Tape!"

Desperation was clear on the rocker's face. He was VERY off put by his new status.
