Turn 1.1 It is currently September of the year 744. The city of Rosenderry has been pacified - only a few pockets of isolated resistance to the Alsacian occupation remain. Meanwhile, Dairish forces have launched a counterattack from the south, with forces massed in Carrowdell preparing to march on Moulins. The Alsacian Order of the Iron Rose, an elite contingent of knights instrumental in the taking of Rosenderry, has ridden south for Carrowdell to intercept the expected invasion force. Meanwhile, skirmishes between Dairish and Alsacian regulars grow increasingly heated in Breannain's Crossing, between the cities of Rosenderry and Killyleigh. It seems the war is only going to intensify... New Turn: - Aria Mazikeen holds 3 (4+4+3=11), 1 remaining - Cirro Diedriek holds 2 (5+1+3=9), 1 remaining - Eloise Iscariot holds 2 (4+2+3=9), 0 remaining - Galatea of White Orchard holds 3 (6+2+3=11), 3 remaining - Hara holds 2 (3+2+3=8), 2 remaining - Islwynne holds 3 (4+4+3=11), 3 remaining - Seiki Bowerbird holds 3 (6+2+3=11), 3 remaining - Vincent Ladouceur holds 2 (2+2+3=7), 0 remaining - Yu'kiko holds 2 (2+1+3=6), 2 remaining. Yu'kiko gains 1 XP. Your Turn Hold is spent to make use of Peripheral Moves and to take part in Rumors and Goings-On (below). Rumors and Goings-On: - Rat Cellar: The Alsacian Third Regiment has discovered the hideout of a local slave ring - and they have a plan to eliminate it. The plan involves smuggling adventurers in as 'slaves' and striking from the inside, rather than attempting a protracted siege of the well-fortified dwelling... - The Watermill: An unidentified beast prowls the land about the watermill by night. Several millers have already been attacked, some grievously wounded. None can recall what the beast that attacked them looked like. With such danger afoot, the watermill has lain fallow for days... - Missing Children: Children are going missing in Breannain's Crossing, lured away by unearthly singing. - Priory Politics: The Tinderwood Priory appears to have sided with Alsace in the war - an apparent casting aside of their long-held tenets of neutrality. - Disquiet in the Woods: The Vanara of Harrow Grove are increasingly agitated and turning away even harmless pilgrims. What could've gotten them so worked up? Edited by wayward, Jul 20 2014, 08:26 PM.
