I hold the kennel name Tresallier and currently have four Brittanys - three I work and one is a house dog. All three working dogs are out with me as a part time hobby gamekeeper and pick up every week during the season. I Field Trial in the UK and in France and am beginning to have a bit of success - all the working dogs have prizes or awards in the UK and the dog has won a trial in France.

I show all my dogs again here and also in France and Germany. My bitch now a full champion.

I have served a couple of terms on the breed club committee and on a ring craft committee however I am now a Field Trial Secretary with a generalist Gundog Club

I have bred one litter with this breed ( I used to have working ESS) and now the first litter has proved itself in field and ring am about to take another; something that will involve about 2000 miles of driving and a week away.

I have a passion for my breed and its abilities that may make me occasionally blinkered and sometimes cynical.

For the record I read regularly Jemma Harrisons blog and whilst I don't always agree with what and how she says things - she did manage to cry 'Emperor's New Clothes' and in doing so has made a lot of us look anew at what we do and how we do it.

I am looking forward to the progress of this group.

Hi Guy, So glad to see you here, you are most welcome. The Dog Union is about representing the Show Dog Fancy, about constructive and well thought out debate and, by no means least, about respect for and between it's members. :) Looking forward to your contributions.

Cheers
