No scope Requiem!
(Continued from Aerix Mission Log: 1)

Aerix stopped under some trees next to a river to let his mount rest.

"Weak creature! How come you get tired so fast!" he yelled at the lizard, which just curled on the ground and fell asleep.

Aerix sat down under a tree and decied to take a look the map which was in his backpack. What he didn't know was that some 100 metres away, there was someone searching for him.

No scope Requiem!
(Continued from Rando's Arrival)

Atraks was walking down the river when he heared someone yell.

Stupid creature....that has to be Aerix. Only he would get mad at a Rahi. Atraks thought. He continued walking until he came close to Aerix. The Makuta was sitting under a tree, examining a map. His weapon, some kind of a gun was lying on the ground next to him.

Atraks crouched behind some bushes and decided to get the Makuta from behind. He began moving slowly towards the tree. When he was close enough, he grabbed the gun and pressed it to Aerix's head.

"Listen up, Aerix. You're going to tell me what I want to know, or I'm going to blow your head up." Atraks whispered. He noticed the big Rahi sleeping by the river. "And no Rahi control tricks. I know you too well."

Aerix though for a second if he should try to run away, then he decided that it wasn't worth it. "What do you want, Atraks?"

No scope Requiem!
"No. Never. You can't make me do this!" Aerix screamed. "He's going to find me. And I'll die!"

Atraks was geting tired. The Makuta wasn't cooperating.

"Do I have to remind you I'm the one with the gun here, Aerix? Just use the fragment and locate Ven."

Aerix's eyes widened in horror. "Don't say his name! Don't! Besides...you have Chaos powers. Why don't you use them to find him?"

"Because, the fragment you have will do it faster. Do it, or I'll start shooting."

Aerix looked around, as if he was expecting something to jump out of the shadows. "Ok. But after that, you'll let me go. Right?"

Atraks sighed. "Yes....you'll be free to go."

Aerix sat on the ground and closed his eyes. After a few seconds, a part of his helmet began faintly glowing. That, in fact, was a fragment of Rak'Ven's Chaos Crystal, an artifact which contained a portion of his soul. After a minute, Aerix opened his eyes.

"You have a map? I wil mark his position. Then you'll let me go."

Atraks handed him over the map. The Makuta took a stick and made a small hole in the map.

"Here. the Tunnels."

Atraks took the map and put it in his backpack. "See? it wasn't so hard. Here, have your gun back." he said as he tossed the gun at Aerix, and headed towards the nearest entrance, which was on the eastern shore.

Aerix picked up the gun. For a second he thought about shooting Atraks in the back, but as he turned around looking for him, the Toa was nowhere to be found. Aerix sat down again, and tried to sleep.

As he closed his eyes, he felt strange. As if someone else was in his head.

Aerix. You're still alive? I knew the Toa wouldn't kill you.

Aerix stood up and looked around. He couldn't see anyone.

You gave him my position, right? Not the smartest thing you could've done. the voice in his head said.

"Oh no. It's you!"

Yes.

Aerix felt a cold wave run through his body. For a second, he couldn't see anything. The voice was gone.

As Aerix looked in horror at he vision Ven cursed im with, he found out his sanity was gone, too.
