The Instructor
|
The Instructor growled, throwing the larger ones off course with his constraint fields as the smaller ones grazed against his Hardlight Shielding—damaging it slightly as his kinetic bonds lost strength lowering him closer to the ground. He then realized the meaning of this attack, to give his enemy the advantage as he saw a disturbance which pawed at the ground beneath the Titan. He then began to supplement his needs by harvesting energy from his suit—pulling the Hardlight Shielding into a tight compact orange ball around himself. Amplifying the energy from his own shielding, he strengthened his Psychokinesis momentarily. He then decided it was best to give a small portion of his Hardlight Energy to his Pyrokinesis, which he did. He then brought the Kinetic and Heat Bounds to the palm of his hand, displacing large amounts of heat from his hand. He then lowered himself to the ground, shaping the spherical object around his hand into a long blade as he brought his Hardlight Shielding to help keep the form, pulling his Hardlight Shielding back to his figure after presenting his modifications. He then lashed forward, tearing at the AT-Field with his combined Hardlight Energy and Constraint Energy—his body heat felt by the giant. He had to think, fast. |

The opponent had formed a sphere of energy of some sorts and had managed to shape it like a blade. with the large blade, it began tearign through the AT-Field and it succeeded in doing so in a rather succesful way, allowing the titan to advance quite quickly towards Jabberwock. Knowing a direct encounter with this energy was rather unadviseable, Jabberwock leaped back 10 metres as soon as the blade got in range. Heat was spatting out of it, enough to completely numb his heat-sensors with the blade in such a short range. He could conclude the enemy had finally began taking Jabberwock as a serious opponent. For Jabberwock, there was but one way to counter this mad blade; he concentrated his AT-Field enough for it to become visible to the naked eye and formed two large blades of solid light in his hands, shaping them into two katana-like shapes. Jabberwock did not know how long this technique would be effective, or useable at all, but it was worth a try. Jabberwock took a defensive stance, the two giant light-katana in his hands, he lowered his defenseive AT-Fields, awaiting the next strike. |

"And so, my 'fair' opponent mimics..." The Instructor claimed, examining his opponent who seemed quick to shift into a defensive position. His Hardlight Shielding recycled, starting to bring the artificial energy around his body back up to full strength—also turning his blade into a harder, dark-colored weapon. The flames present around the blade which hugged tightly to the Initiator's forearm allowed wisps of heat to flicker off the blade, reminding his opponent of his Incandescent Powers. He watched as the clear bubble shape around the figure slowly transcended to disappearance, seeing it die with the aid of the beings light weapons. He then quickly shifted his left palm to face Jabberwock, as the lighting on his armor increased in brightness—drawing energy as it then shot a thin beam at his opponent at lightning speed, feeling like a superheated pin in the palm of his hand as even his hands armor dulled to the heat. "Then let us see you fairness in perpetual combat..." |

Jabberwock was shocked. For the first time since his ressurrection, so many years ago, he felt pain. Through his right side, nearing his hip, a small hole had been pierced right trough his layered armour, artificial skin, inner tissue and even the backbone and backside of the armour all in one easy go. Blue illuminated fluid came spouting oiut of both side of this gaping wound, making a blue mess of the armour on Jabberwock. Soon enough, a yellow bubbly substance also came out and closed up the wound. Artifical skin was not as solid as his armour, but atleast it was regenerative, albeit rather slightly. The sensation of pain however, did not cause the AT-Blades to falter, as Jabberwock had focussed on keeping them in shape. With them, he decided to correct his mistake of ever letting down his defensive barriers by charging the enemy, whose flaming sword had gotten even bmore powerful. Jabberwock stamped first, whipping up a cloud of charred ashes and ground from the previous incinerations. Then, he jumped straight trough them with an acceleration unheard of. He aimed to slash his opponent's torso and legs. This would lead to an almost certain strike, as it had only one sword... |

The Instructor jumped, such speed he had only seen in smaller sapient beings. He quickly parried off the blade which charged at his chest—but to allowed it to bounce of his blade which then cut through his leg as the AT-Blade broke his Hardlight Shielding and cut like butter through his Protosteel Armor and the padded underarmor which was underneath it. He growled, as his orange Incandescent Blood drooled through the gash in his leg. Though his enemy made a mistake, coming up close to him was rather dangerous for his sake as he then brought the blade which formed around his forearm with a quick jab into his chest. The Titan would pay for even touching him. Edited by FireDrag1091, Apr 18 2013, 10:26 PM.

Witout fail, the giant blade that had been attached to the titans's arm gushed straight through Jabberwock's left chest. It hurt, it hurt enough for him to make him scream, but up this close, screaming was exactly what he needed to do. After the the violent sensations of pain he had been subjected to and the fact he had finally come this close to his opponent, it was time to release all restraints. This violent and rather gruesome side of Jabberwock was one he would've never revealed to anyone, living. The ones he had revealed it too all had perished along as Jasbberwock's unrestrained power also had caused him to go truly berserk until anyone in the wide vincinity had been wiped out, smashed to tiny broken bloody bits or even partially consumed. Jabberwock knew what risk he was taking with this, but he vowed to somehow keep his control over his powers, aimign to seal them as soon as he had defeated his opponent. Slowly, Jabberwock allowed his consciousness to fade away, rendering him into a heavy body that hung on the weight of the blade that was still stuck inside him. Then, as soon as he had faded to black, everythign around him seemed to come into view again, only this time in a bloodred wash coloured over his visor. The jawpiece, a huge restraint that had always covered his teeth opened up. The speakers he'd used before to talk though collapsed into his body. The pylons on his shoulder fanned out into multiple, dangerous looking spikes and then, he opened the pair of eyes below the usual ones, all four shining with a blindingly green light. Jabberwock lifted up his head and gave off a tremendous roar that was probably audible all over the island. As he stood on his legs again, supporting his own weight, he slouched his upper back into a curl, creating a mean looking hunchback. Looking the opponent straight in his own eyes, jabberwock roared again, then he threw a punch directly aimed at the opponent's face. He would not care how much of the blue blood that currently flowed out of his gashing chestwound he would lose. His opponent would go down. OOC: Now witness how much I've based this whole character and behaviour of NGE

The Instructor

The Instructor flew back a couple of meters due to the brute force, skidding seven others as he laid motionless for brief seconds—eventually standing up; slowly and wobbling at his feet. "Anger is your flaw, fair opponent... and may you die understanding this one simple fact..." the Instructor snarled, pulling himself up into the air out of reach as he then amplifyed his Hardlight Shielding with a Constraint Field as he released his bonds. What followed couldn't even be described—a large orange flash occurred, sending glass-like Hardlight Shards flying in every direction; completely annihilating the vegetation around the two as his defense systems would power down temporarily. He then lowered himself back down to the ground, pushing aside thick smoke as he feet touched the ground. He then shifted into a combat position from ages old, as his two eye visors shot out a orange beam; visibly sensing the ground infront of him through the thick smoke. OOC: It wouldn't kill him, OC—but I wanted to make the arena a little bit more interesting for the combat scene. Both of us have our advantages and disadvantages. Instructor has the advantage of seeing through the thick smoke to avoid any suprise attacks, though his defense systems are down, (with the exception of relatively weak Constraint Fields). |

((Niha continued from Whispers of the Ocean)) Niha knew she walked into trouble as soon as she entered the swamp. Redveraic and Jabberwock (contestant no. 21) were in heated battle, ripping trees from the ground, making a whole bunch of noise, and destroying their surroundings. Niha decided to lay low and wait. She would certainly die if she joined the fight now. |

Smoke was all around, darkening the area into one mes tat could not be seen through, but Jaberwock didn't care at tht moment anyways. The oponent had spouted some nonsense about flawed anger, something his consciousness was quite aware of. It was a big flaw, but all this anger, which he had pent up for many years, was now finally coming to it's right. As furious as Jabberwock curently was, he was also overjoyed. Ovejoyed to have found a release for his seemingly eternal pool of wrathful feelings. Jabberwock, stil hunged over like he was in his current state, simply stood there, and then he made his move. Using his AT-Field, Jabberwock trew up the ground, sending a wave of rubble and ground in every direction that was in front of him. |

The Instructor sensed the waves which rippled through the ground, the rubble flying somewhat in his direction. He then fought against the torrent of ground which clouded the sky; breaking the larger chunks with the sheer force of his punches as the smaller bits tore at his Constraint Fields which were failing to protect him. Suddenly, a red outline of his opponent appeared--showing the Initiator his position as he then charged his opponent; throwing jabs and uppercuts into the head and chest of his opponent as he then attempted to knock him to the ground with a spin kick after he was stunned. "Such tactics you have failed to use before... have you ever thought of the possibility that I would not fall for these tricks?" |
