Holls looks so cute! But, serious question: with a bump like that how is she still performing in the show?? I know she only has another week but still...does she go nude with the bump?
Ok I think I just answered my own question by going to yelp. Read this review. Yuck. http://www.yelp.com/biz/peepshow-las-vegas-3#hrid:FDT0Mg10eUTC9vAo4E4BJQ
There is nothing prettier than a pregnant woman. Obviously, everyone knows she is pregnant so I don't know why it's "shocking" that she has a baby bump, I mean seriously? I was pregnant just six months ago, and it is very hurtful when I heard people say things like "yuck". We don't exactly is going on with Peepshow to why they asked Holly to stay until mid October. I think those reviews are really harsh, but that's probably why I've also become so protective of pregnant women.
I think people like to complain to complain. I know I do sometimes :) I didn't think any of the pics she just showed of her with Peep Show were horrid. I also thought she WAS covering herself up and not going naked. I thought she was actually scheduled to end her contract later, but shortened it after she found out she was pregnant. So the October date is actually the shortened contract after finding out she was expecting. Could be wrong, but that's what I have in the ol' memory bank.
Do I think pregnant women are beautiful? YES. Do I want to see a pregnant woman in a burlesque show, when I wasn't expecting to actually SEE her bump (her bump WAS very small, obviously, a couple of weeks ago) - NO. [btw - I love burlesque and go to local shows often. I would even like a pregnant burlesque show, if that is what I had paid to see]
Do I think that if her bump is getting in the way of the performance, maybe she should have left earlier, it's not like she needs the money - YES (based on people who mentioned they CHANGED the performance and that she was constantly trying to hide her belly)
Now, I posted those reviews because I was questioning how she was still fitting in her costume. What I found is that she wasn't (which is fine) and that it's very noticeable and is taking away from (in some peoples opinion) the overall quality of the show.
I do like that the show has accommodated her by changing the show around, but I also think it's not fair to paying customers to see a show that isn't to the same quality that others got to see. Angel should have replaced her sooner.

People didn't pay to see her baby bump. Solution-she tried to hide her baby bump to the best of her ability.
She tried to hide her baby bump to the best of her ability. Solution-that's not what they paid for because they changed the show a little bit.
I'm not trying to start a fight with you my fellow hooker, I just know what it's like to be bullied because of a pregnancy and being a working mom. We don't know if Holly needed the money or not, we don't know if Angel wasn't able to take over the shows until now. It's just not fair to assume.

I was just playing devils advocate because I can understand either side of the argument. Personally - removing completely that this is Holly - If I paid to see a certain type of show, I would want to get exactly what I paid for. So I understand giving the show bad reviews because of that. I wouldn't have been rude in my reviews like some of those people on Yelp were - or anything like that. There is definitely a nicer way to make your complaints about something.
Also, Holly does have an understudy, as all major productions have them for vacation time, sick days, emergencies. So they would have had someone to replace her that knew the part already if she had decided to leave even earlier. They wouldn't have been completely at a loss.

So they would have had someone to replace her that knew the part already if she had decided to leave even earlier. They wouldn't have been completely at a loss. At the end of the day, this is a market issue. It's about a certain type of show presenting a certain amount of skin within a very particular context - a context that does not involve pregnancy. If you paid to see pregnant burlesque, it's all good. But I greatly doubt the PeepShow audience feels that's a plus, as the fact that Holly was "covered up" as much as possible attests. In fact, I'd bet money that the vast majority of PeepGoers would tell you that pregnant showgirls are decidedly not on their sexy fun agenda. Many would be repulsed by the idea, actually, because the common douche-nometer that likes to see naked girls onstage tends toward major mommy dysfunction.
Sure, the attitude is sexist and oppressive and allows the "patriarchy" to control - not just objectify - women. But so is the standard that dictates uberthinness and big tits, and a painfully large percentage of the female population gleefully participates in that bullshit mess every day. Even here.
No matter how you slice PeepShow, it's not a very politically correct show. It is what it is, and this is why Angel's coming to the rescue.

I can see all sides to the baby bump issue. However Holly did sign a multi million dollar deal with planet hollywood granted I do not know what is in the contract.Perhaps Holly has to work so many days to in order not to break the contract and keep the deal ? I do know that things like this has happen to other performers were they said they had to work so many days to make everyone happy. Not saying that is what happened in this case but it would kind of make sence to why Holly is still doing the show.

Not saying that is what happened in this case but it would kind of make sence to why Holly is still doing the show. I think it's quite simple, really. To maximize profit for both parties, Holly works as long as medically viable or until her body no longer suits the production, whichever happens first. I'm positive their agreement revolves around this.
As Lilsa pointed out, there's gonna be a medical trapdoor in the contract that would let her out early if necessary. That doesn't mean that she'll earn money for uncompleted performances, but I doubt anybody's going to hardass her about it or not ask her back. They seem to like her, and I'm pretty sure she warned them of the possibility of pregnancy when she gave her six months' notice. By June she was already talking to the press about avoiding birth control.

Holly is very tiny now days perhaps that is why her baby bump looks so big to some. I have never understood the hate that is sometimes given to pregnant women after all our mothers were pregnant with each of us otherwise none of us would be here. Where I come from a pregnant woman got respect even if one did not like the said woman. Oh well a different time and place. From one daughter to all Mothers thank you. Just my humble opinion :)
This is just my opinion not trying to start a fight with anyone, Thanks

Especially about losing the baby weight in 5 seconds. Expectations are so unhealthy today. I wonder if any of these nut jobs have thought about the fact that you can't starve while breastfeeding, and some choose to do it six weeks. A body is healing, a baby is eating, and it makes me nuts to hear it's horrible that someone isn't a size 0 in a month. A person isn't supposed to be a twig while preggers, either. A certain amount of weight gain is normal and healthy.
Actually I had an Aunt work to stay skinny while pregnant. My cousin was born practically malnourished.
LOL, I haven't even had a baby yet! Can you imagine my temper on the subject after I do? I bet I tell 10 people to blow me. B-)

I'm surprised the kid wasn't a lot bigger when he was born. Pregnancy was probably the best diet I had been on. I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes. It went away after pregnancy but I kept the diet. I eat small meals throughout the day. I'm down to my high school weight. Plus a baby keeps you really busy. I feel like I'm on my feet all day. Lots of walking!

Omg no one is calling Holly FAT or "hating" or disrespecting pregnant women. Good lord people. Next someone will will be crying "jellos hatter" lmao! I happen to think Holly is one of the most beautiful women on earth. As Boring Bunny said IT IS THE CONTEXT OF THE SHOW... People didn't get tix to see a pregnant woman dancing in lingerie...especially when in the beginning of the story she is innocent and "inexperienced" in life. Lol.

She is very tiny! It looks like she ate a big lunch! I don't think I would be able to tell if she was pregnant if I already didn't know.
Just my humble opinion :)This is just my opinion not trying to start a fight with anyone, Thanks
I agree with you. It seems now days a woman can't win. B-) I jet had a baby, and I have a new outlook on life. I will always give up my seat if I see someone pregnant come in. I was at a restaurant about 9 months pregnant and there was a wait so my group had to stand because it was so crowded. No one offered me a seat :( I heard them talking about me, though. That was always fun. I will forever be a warrior and advocate for pregnant women!

Being pregnant in London I am shocked at how few times I get offered a seat home on the tube (I have to get it every night, I now have a visible bump and I even where a bump on board badge) before pregnancy I always gave my seat up. i think people are just more selfish nowadays.
