This will be our first RPG on the site, and I'm excited to start it. In this RPG, the world, as we know it, has ended. WWIII has broken out, and everyone 18 years of age or older has been sent out to fight. They all died. The streets are bomb ridden, and there is little food. People are just trying to survive. And when I say people, I mean kids. Any character under the age of 10 will need an additional character with them (Because let's face it, a 5-year-old is not going to be able to defend himself from pretty much anything)

There are the rich kids, who think they can own everything. There are the bullies, who think they can just beat everyone. And then there are the kids in between, who are just trying to live. Will they exist simultaniously? Or will they all kill each other?

Jenny [The Rents]
She hadn't heard anything on the news for days. The television had stopped working. And the kids in the next neighborhood, Down-town, were starting to get pretty rowdy. Jenny stood, facing the window, looking out over the rubbled streets. You could see the deep cracks running through the middle, breaking up the concrete. The sky was incredibly cloudy, and it looked like rain. But Jenny knew better, she knew it was the smoke from the guns, from the fires, from the bombs. She wished she knew what was happening out there, but she knew that wouldn't happen. Everyone was too busy fighting to send anyone any messages. So she wouldn't find out until they won, or lost. She sighed. "Julie?" she asked, turning around to see her little sister staring at the clock on the counter. It read 12:41 pm. Just after mid-day. "Julie, it's time to eat," she told the little girl, who looked up at her. "But Mom and Dad aren't back. They said they'd be back today," she replied. "They're probably just held up at the airport. But you need to eat, okay?" she told the little girl, who moved into the kitchen. Chunky peanut butter with slimy jelly on bread with a hint of mold. They'd run out of everything good a week ago. Now, they ate one meal a day, and it wasn't necessarily taste. At all.

~Morgan~
.:Downtown:.

Morgan couldn't feel anything, just a empty void of distaste and hatred. She could remember every single detail of the incident as if it were yesterday. She blocked out the waves of hunger that rumbled inside the pit of her stomach.
Some kids in downtown decided that it was funny to set firecrackers in the old house up on the avenue. Screw them all Morgan stomach echoed her thoughts, screw them all
Sometimes, she wishes it was her that killed them all.
The ruckus outside her house only made her think of everything that couldn't have happened. She always doubted about it though. Morgan closed her eyes, it was now one in the evening; would a nap hurt anyone?

Jenny [The Rents]
She was glad that Julie had listened to her and eaten, although her promise that their parents were safe and sound in an airport would probably come back to hurt her one day. She at a little as well, but she didn't eat very much anymore, saving the best stuff for her sister. She cleaned off some of the plates before deciding she needed to take out the garbage. They didn't have a lot they threw out anymore, but it was starting to stink. It was time.

She pulled the lid off the can and tightened the bag around the mouth, tying it securely. "Julie, I'll be right back. I'm just going outside," she told the girl, who didn't even look at her while she nodded. The poor girl, waiting for her parents, that would probably never come. The poor child. Jenny swung the bag over her shoulder and proceeded outside. Her apartment was fairly close to Down-town. Far closer than she ever wanted to be, anyway. She saw some girl walking around, but didn't think much of it as she put the trash in the trashcan.

Morgan {Down Town}

Morgan couldn't manage to sleep, the noise outside was overwhelming. Grabbing the taser that her father had owned before he died and the handgun she found not too far away from her home and walked out. It was an average day; the clouds blocked the sun and the air was cool. But hey, it was better than nothing.

Morgan noted how empty it looked outside despite the noise. Dumb kids and their tea parties. Still she didn't take a risk.

Jenny [The Rents]
She noticed motion out of the corner of her eye, which instantly put her on edge. "Hello?" she asked, turning around quickly to face whoever it was. "I know you're out there, who are you?" she continued, her voice growing rougher. She didn't want to know who it was, but not knowing could be so much worse. Someone from Downtown so close to the Rents, out and about, that couldn't be good. She'd thrown out her parents stash, no trouble finding that, but didn't have any doubt that one of the Downtown kids had picked it up. the air was growing warmer in the heat from the sun, but it had a hard time filtering through the smoke. The temperature hadn't gotten above sixty degrees in a month, despite the fact that it was mid-summer. Jenny worried about how cold it might get in the winter if this continued. "Show yourself," she ordered the person.

.:Morgan:. {Downtown}
Morgan dodged a couple of pebbles that were thrown at her, she looked up and heard a rough, coarse voice ring in the air.
"Show yourself," Morgan swiveled her head and turned to the source. Quickly and quietly, she bee-lined the fence around her house and took a closer look at the girl. Morgan was at least a couple feet away, but she readied the pistol in case this was all a trap.

"What is it?" She questioned.

Jenny [The Rents]
She looked up at the girl leaning over a wooden fence. It looked cracked an in need of serious repair, and she worried that the girl might collapse through it any second. She hid that concern well behind her stone gaze. "What are you doing this close to the Rents?" she asked, noticing the sun as it glinted off the pistol in her hands. All Jenny had was the hunting knife she'd liberated from her father's stash, but that was hidden where the girl couldn't see it. She probably thought Jenny was unarmed. "You belong in there," she continued, pointing to the center of Downtown. She didn't want them thinking they could take over the Rents. She didn't want that at all.

Morgan {The Rents}

"Hey, hey," Morgan said, lifting her hands up in mock surrender. "I wasn't going to hurt anyone." Morgan looked to the direction where the girl pointed and crinkled her face in disgust. "Yeah, well you know, people like me don't really belong anywhere."
Morgan blew a strand of blue hair out of her face. "I'm you know- just wandering.."

Jenny [The Rents]
She narrowed her eyes at the girl. "Yeah, because you pointing a gun at me sure looks like you're not going to hurt me," she told her, malice in her voice. "If you don't belong there, why were you there?" she asked, without asking. She didn't want this girl in the Rents, around her little sister with that gun. She wanted to protect her sister from anyone from Downtown. That was the last place she wanted her sister going.
