This will be our first RPG on the site, and I'm excited to start it. In this RPG, the world, as we know it, has ended. WWIII has broken out, and everyone 18 years of age or older has been sent out to fight. They all died. The streets are bomb ridden, and there is little food. People are just trying to survive. And when I say people, I mean kids. Any character under the age of 10 will need an additional character with them (Because let's face it, a 5-year-old is not going to be able to defend himself from pretty much anything)

There are the rich kids, who think they can own everything. There are the bullies, who think they can just beat everyone. And then there are the kids in between, who are just trying to live. Will they exist simultaniously? Or will they all kill each other?

"Ummm.... Thanks? Anyway, this well comes in handy for fetching water easily... I guess. You know, so I don't have to go to the store?" She said as she handed over the pan. "Might not last very long if your clan doesn't leave soon, and I have a feeling you won't." She looked at him as her mood changed from indifferent to rage. She was grabbing her arm but pointed at him, accusing, which was kind of awkward. "Sure, the first time I let someone into my house, Jake and the rest of your stupid gang had to show up! I don't know what the hell I did to deserve this! And if there is a god, which I doubt more and more every day, I sure hope he's happy with the way the world is unraveling!" She gazed toward the well, behind which was the cellar, and hissed, "The cellar is behind the well." There were tears in her eyes now and she wiped them before storming back toward the house.

Cam set the pan down and ran after her. "Hey, hey, hey," he said gently stepping in front of her. "I know it's hard. It's hard on all of us. I know Jake's not the best roommate, and when I say that, I mean it. But it's not easy on us either. I'm not part of them. I'm with them so I can survive. Jake came in one day and just started taking all the food, saying that if we wanted any, we had to join him. I didn't have a lot to begin with, and he needed me because my mom was a doctor and I could help the wounded. Kids trip a lot on these streets. Some of them don't have soft landings. That's how I knew how to fix your arm," he told her, gently brushing the wrapping. "I know you don't deserve this, but a lot of people are getting what they don't deserve right now. The question is, are you strong enough to give it back?" he asked, gently putting a hand under her chin. He knew she was strong enough. She just didn't have numbers. Yet.

She stood there, unwilling to listen but listening nonetheless. She pulled away her arm when he touched it and looked into his eyes, sadness in her own eyes. She had felt extremely aggravated when she had had her outburst, but had calmed down once he had gotten about mid way through his speech. Even through the excruciating pain of her arm being fixed, she had felt safe with him though she didn't know exactly why.

"You realize that even though you have told me this, I can't trust you, right?" She said as she looked back and forth between his eyes. She then brought up her good arm, pushed down his arm that was at her chin and turned around, arms crossed in defiance.

"I never asked you to," Cam said as he put a hand on her shoulder and walked around to face her again. "All I'm asking is that you don't hate me. Hate them instead. It's a much better place to put it," he told her, spending a second to look at her before turning and moving to the well to pick up the pan. He picked it up and moved to the cellar. He wanted to leave Celine alone if she wanted to be alone.

She watched as he walked away, almost sorry that he had. She decided she probably did need some alone time, though. She trudged inside, eager to get her mind off of things unrelated to the task at hand, which she had still not finished... She decided she would start packaging the meat without Cam. She walked straight to the kitchen not even glancing at the rest of the gang still by the stairs; she knew they were probably beating Jenny or verbally abusing her. As she stepped into the kitchen, she thought about what he had said about not hating him. It was nearly impossible for her not to hate him, mostly because he had insisted for her not to hate him. She hated being told what to do and what not to do. More or less she had decided to hate him less than the rest of the boys.

She walked to where the meat was thinly sliced on the counter and lay each piece of meat out on the counter then promptly began sprinkling salt onto the pieces, both sides. When she had salted all of the meat except what she intended to cook as soon as he got back with her pan, she went to sit in a corner by the fridge, her head between her knees and wept. For all things lost and for things that would never come. At that moment her opinion was that she would never break out of her own house until her arm was healed, and with Jake there that was almost sure never to happen.

Cam found the well and set down the pan outside before reaching for the door. It was at an angle, with the bottom part closest to him on the ground. He pulled open the door, listening to it creek slowly on its hinges. He wished he had a light. Cam didn't exactly like the dark. He took a deep breathe. "It's now or never," and plunged into the darkness.

After she had been waiting for a while she had leaned, sitting against a wall, one knee bent, the other leg extended with her injured right arm resting on top of her knee. Her other hand was picking at the bandage around the bones while she was thinking. She wondered where Cam had gone then traced her arm from her fingers to her shoulder with her eyes. She decided while she was still waiting she would go change her shirt, because it was getting darker and if she was lucky, everyone would be sleeping soon. She walked out of the kitchen and slowly advanced to the stairs, hoping no one would see her and she could change and check on Jenny's sister.

"Damn." He shot the guy but grazed the girl. He'd have to patch her up. The guy fell down dead. Kylar made sure. He tried to talk to the girl but he realized she was in shock. He shouldn't have fired the gun. He then remembered about the wounded girl. He sighed and took out his knife. The girl scooted back and hit a tree. She winced and he tried to calm her down. "Its okay, its okay. I'm just trying to help." He thought for a second and asked, "Whats your name?"
"Ulysandra."
"How old are you?"
"12."
"Do you know this guy?"
"No. He just grabbed me when I saw you."
"Come here."
"How can I trust you?"
"If I didn't want to help you, you would be dead." She gulped and scooted closer to him. Kylar cut a long strip from his undershirt and wrapped up the wound as best he could. He'd have to find medicine and try to find a place to sleep for the night. His house was to far away, so he took her hand and ran through the woods. He remembered about an old well in these woods. He needed water and undoubtedly the girl did to. He saw the well and hoped everything would be okay.

Henry slid in front of Celine, who was slowly making her way to the stairs. "Hey, girly. What are you doing?" he asked, drawing the attention of Jake. Drew and Jenny had already gone upstairs, and the door slammed shut just as Jake turned around.

"That's a very good question," Jake replied, coming in on Celine side, trapping her between them. "What are you doing?" he asked, narrowing his eyes at her. He was already angry at Drew for making him seem weak, and he was ready to take every bit of it out on Celine, who just loved to challenge him. He wasn't going to have any of it.
