This will be our first RPG on the site, and I'm excited to start it. In this RPG, the world, as we know it, has ended. WWIII has broken out, and everyone 18 years of age or older has been sent out to fight. They all died. The streets are bomb ridden, and there is little food. People are just trying to survive. And when I say people, I mean kids. Any character under the age of 10 will need an additional character with them (Because let's face it, a 5-year-old is not going to be able to defend himself from pretty much anything) There are the rich kids, who think they can own everything. There are the bullies, who think they can just beat everyone. And then there are the kids in between, who are just trying to live. Will they exist simultaniously? Or will they all kill each other? |

Jenny [Suburbs] "Sure," she said with a nod. Jenny turned around and went to the door she had just closed and reopened it. She looked up. There was a boy inside with his gun pointed at Julie. "Julie!" Jenny screamed. Julie smiled and tried to go closer to her. The boy wrapped a hand around her and yanked her back. "So, Julie's her name," he said as he played his gun through her hair. "I've been wondering. Your name's Jenny, right?" he asked, now pointing his gun at Jenny. "How do you know my name?" Jenny asked after pausing in the door, frozen. Her voice wavered. "Now, I'm assuming you're her sister, since you're far to pretty to be her mom," the boy started. Jenny wanted to kill for just comparing her to her mother, even if he wasn't holding Julie captive. "I wonder what she's worth to you," he continued, turning his gun back on Julie. Jenny gulped. Her hand moved slowly to her knife. She was too far away to kill him, but she had to do something. "Food, shelter, enslavery?" he asked. "Oh, don't worry with your weapon. Even pull it and I'll only kill her." Jenny's hand froze. "No matter how fast you think you are, all I have to do is pull the trigger." "Jenny..." Julie whimpered. Edited by applejakes, Oct 21 2012, 07:19 PM.

Celine (Suburbs) She remained seated as she watched Jennifer go inside. She wondered why she paused then heard her scream what must have been her sister's name, Julie. Why did she scream like that? She slowly stood to see what was going on. As she got a little closer, she could see a boy inside but wasn't sure how or why he was there. Then she remembered. The open door. She didn't think cursing profusely at him was a very good idea, since, she noticed, he had Jennifer's sister at gunpoint. So, instead, she eased up beside Jennifer, whose hand was frozen as if reaching for something, and asked, in a forced whisper, "Who the hell are you and what do you think you're doing in my house threatening my house guests?" She was sneering at him now and she hoped he could hear the acid in her voice. Edited by frenchie101, Oct 21 2012, 09:07 PM.

Jake [Suburbs] He smiled at the blonde girl. He loved how she acted like she was so in control. He couldn't wait to crush that little dream. "Well, my dear, I am the guy who is currently holding the gun to this little angel's head," he started, noticing how Jenny grimanced. "Oh, Jenny dear, don't do that. You'll get wrinkles on that pretty face of yours." She began to scowl as Jake merely smirked. "As to what I'm doing," he began as he inspected Julie's face, taking her chin in his hand and moving it this way and that. He saw tears in her eyes, tears of fear. They made him want to jump for joy. "I'm collecting supplies. Unless you have any objections, Miss..." he trailed off, waiting for a name, looking now to the blonde girl. |

Celine (Suburbs) "Fine. Whatever do you need?" She asked in an almost mocking voice. She motioned around her and said "We obviously don't have much to offer. Unless, of course, you needed meat, in which case, you will let us take back the girl and carry on with our business with the trap in the yard. There is a coyote on its way here and you may take as much of it as you need. Then leave us be." She stared at him, waiting for a reply to her offer, then added, "and the name's Celine." |

Jake [Suburbs] "Celine," he said, tasting the name. it sounded profound, yet not up to this girl's standards. She could be useful one day. "Well, my dearest Celine, unless you'd like to use the girl as bait," he noticed Julie and Jenny immediately tense up. Julie's tears began to flow, "I believe she'd be just fine here with me. Of course you may catch your coyote in the meantime. Then we'll see what kind of a bargain we can draw up." He turned, now, to the child in his arms. "How does that sound, little one?" he asked, his voice sweet as he ran his gun through her hair again. It was so silky, with just a slight curl, unlike her sister's. "Does that sound good to you?" The child nodded slightly. Jake's easy-going smirk turned immediately into a hard, threatening frown as he turned the gun on the two girls in the doorway. "Now go. Finish you're work. Next time you come in here, I want you covered in blood. And if you're not, " he cocked the gun audibly and pointed it back at Julie, "she will be." Jenny nearly fell backwards, nearly knocking over Celine as she did. |

Celine (Suburbs) She swallowed, then looked over at Jenny, apology in her eyes. She looked back at the dark, sadistic teenager. "I actually came in for the bait. If you don't mind, I will just grab that before returning to my work." She walked past him and Julie, not daring to look him in the eye, and grabbed the mouse meat. As she walked back outside, she glared at him. When she got to the trap outside, she started cursing to Jenny about the sick, twisted, jerk off they had just encountered. "Who the hell does he think he is?? Seriously?! She's so little! I hope he goes to hell for what he's doing! I am sooooo sorry this had to happen to you, Jenny..." Jake [Suburbs] He glared at Celine as she walked by. Yeah, she didn't like him, not like he cared. She was a little too strong willed to be as useful to him as he'd hoped, but the other two, they were rather maluable. Jenny would do anything to protect Julie, and Julie was perfect, as captives go. She cried at the right times, and she was quiet the entire time. Perfect. Jake grabbed her by the back of her neck, causing her to gulp again. He took her to the living room, but not before shouting, "I can hear you!" out the door as he passed by, not wanting Celine to think she was ranting in private. When critizising the guy with the gun, it was probably better to do it out of earshot. Jake sat Julie down on the couch and picked up the glass of water nearby. He drank it all down while Julie watched, her eyes wide. He smiled. Jenny [Suburbs] She knew she'd been stupid to leave the house. She should have listened to her insticts. She knew so much better than to leave Julie unguarded. She mentally kicked herself for being so stupid as she listened to Celine. "It's fine. As soon as I get Julie back, we're out of here anyway," she said idly as she helped Celine set up the trap. "I need to get her somewhere safer anyway." |

Celine (Suburbs) What was she thinking? Of course some downtown pest came after she had welcomed (sort of....) people into her house. At least it was only one.... despite how evil he seemed. Later she would have time to think about this. For now she would just have to focus on trapping the coyote, without getting in the way. Hiding in the house was definitely out of the question, unless she wanted to piss off Jenny by getting her sister killed..... Her hand throbbed, reminding her she would be an easy target to any wild animal. You are going to have to hide--" The coyote howled again. "Hurry! Get in that bush; I can't hide with you or I will put you in danger. You will have to hide away from me; you still have a sister to guide. I have no one. And I'm practically a sitting duck with this cut. The coyote can probably already smell this so I guess I will just have to lure it to the trap..." She started to sway, then saw the coyote's ears over the bushes before she blacked out. |

Jenny [Suburbs] She saw Celine pass out. Well, she couldn't just leave her there to be eaten, even if she had to protect Julie. No, she couldn't do that. Jenny looked over at the, now visible, coyote. She placed herself over Celine, knife draw. She didn't think she stood much of a chance, but she had to try. She couldn't just leave the person who took her in and found a way to maybe free her sister. The coyote ran at her. Jake [Suburbs] He left Julie on the couch as he looked out the window. Celine passed out. Were they kidding him? Did he have to do everything? He turned to Julie. "Stay here or I will kill you," he told her. She nodded. He moved to the door, opened it, and shot the coyote, who had lunged at Jenny, with one shot as Jenny guarded her face. He then walked up to Jenny and hit her with the but of his gun on her cheek. He heard Julie yell from inside "Jenny!" She fell to the ground. "If you can't even handle the simplest of tasks, why should I let you have your sister back?" he asked her as she looked up at him, tears in her eyes. "Why shouldn't I just kill you now?" He cocked the gun and aimed it at her face. |

Celine [Suburbs] She had passed out and was lying on her belly, but could faintly hear what was going on around her. She heard two clicks. What was happening? She tried to open her eyes but could not move. Someone was partially on top of her or near her, she was numb so she couldn't quite decide which. She tried to ask about the coyote and what had happened to Jenny and Julie, but could only manage a moan. She blinked a couple of times and saw the boy, she thought. She heard what she assumed to be Jenny, next to her, and figured somehow the boy had caused her to fall to the ground. She grabbed his ankle. Edited by frenchie101, Oct 23 2012, 08:16 PM.
