Resonance of Fate is a Japanese steampunk RPG that is like those 50+ hour or so in their gameplay.

The Good:
Resonance of Fate has a unique battle system. It can take a while to master, but once you have it, it's good as gold. The unlimited character customization is amazing! You can one eye gold and the other blue. They also have ridiculous clothing options, like having a reindeer outfit or piggy suit, but some can trigger various hero actions. Their dialogue goes through seamlessly, we couldn't have asked for better voice actors.

Leanne: This skirt is too short!
Zephyr: Now we only need a trampoline
Leanne: What did you say?!
Zephyr: I said the hem looks really keen.

Why is Zephyr's bathing suit a bikini? *facepalm*

The Bad:
The graphics are a little wonky, the storyline makes no apparent sense at all, I mean, we have people dying randomly after a stone breaks?
The battle system lacks a variety, that means, unlike Final Fantasy, nothing new appears, that means you would be chucking grenades and shooting a dog's ass for hours.
Zephyr: I guess I'm too stupid to understand!

The Ugly:
For fun really, have you seen the way Zephyr runs? He looks a little deranged. Or the English dubbing looks a little half-assed.
People comment on how the setting looks, like it has a Victorian theme to it, and nothing really goes on forth from that.

My Rating to it though: ****1/2 (4 and one half)

Who has played the game before?

I have never played hits game but it seems quite intriguing. What game console is it for?

To conserve that annoying console war, it's on both Xbox 360 and PS3. :3

This deffinately does sound like an interesting game. I am going to have to look up some reviews and YouTube videOs on it first thought before I consider trying it out...

The battle system is a pain in the ass, but it got a little boring after spamming the same hero actions every time.
Hey, at least I can make Leanne look smart. xD

The soundtracks are amusing. Mein favorite is "Fighting With the Devil"
