Welcome to The Infected.

This is a band/music AU for the Apocalypse. It's mostly Kpop/Jrock/Asian music related, but we allow all genres and bands for this roleplay. Because it is AU, they are not completely like their real life band personas.

Check out the Introduction posts for more information.

Bad to worse..

Taeil had never thought something like this would ever happen. A meteor crashing into the earth? Sure, instant death. Wouldn't have been so bad. Nuclear war? Again, probably instant death--especially if they were hit first, right? A massive disease that killed off a large portion of the country..yeah, he could see that, but for those said dead to reanimate and come back to kill more people was definitely not okay with him. At all.

Because here he was, sitting atop a roof at sunset after scrambling out of a bedroom window when he'd opened a close to a zombie kid trying to get him. He'd practically thrown himself out the window to just end it right there, but at the last second he'd caught himself and climbed up onto the roof...only to see his zombie attacker tumble from the window, plop head-first onto the concrete below, and pretty much just..pop. Pop was a good word for it. Not as gorey as explode or crunch or splatter or...yeah, just stick with pop. Either way it was disgusting, and he had no idea how he'd managed to get up onto the roof...or how to get down.

He'd ditched his bag in the bedroom he'd run out of, and now he was afraid to go back in after it with the sun going down, and he had already been hungry to begin with. So, Taeil had found himself crawling over towards one of the large trees that was parallel to the roof, reaching out to tug at some of the flimsy branches. No fucking way was he going to be able to get over to the trunk and climb down. He couldn't see any sturdy branches..but then again he couldn't see much of anything. Ugh. Turning slowly, he leaned over the edge of the roof to try and get a peek as to how far down it was, before starting to climb up towards the top. When the tiles slid out from beneath his feet he gave a rather loud mixture of a yelp and a curse, clutching onto whatever he could to keep from falling.

The tiny man had managed to keep himself from tumbling to the ground like the zombie, but he'd yelled, dropped loud tiles against concrete, and had scraped up the roof enough to expose the stables and nails underneath..and the sun was almost down. So. This was cool. Propping his feet into the gutter, he laid splayed over the small area he found himself in, unmoving, and hoping that hadn't attracted anything. This...sucked. Really, really bad.

Taeil followed the man around the house to test the latches, locks and whatnot. They needed to board stuff up..or they might be open to attack, if someone noticed that they were staying here. With running water and stuff it was a valuable place. In his opinion, at least. But most of the neighborhood seemed deserted...

Looking up from being lost in thought when the man spoke up to shoo--what he thought to be a cat--whatever it was away from the window, he froze when the critter bit him and fled.

Looking up as Jihoon spun around to give him a rather...horrified look, he couldn't help the lump that rose in his throat. There was no way that animal was infected..there was no way their luck was that bad, right? But it was a stray, feral now..and eating whatever it could, so it might have some nasty bacteria in its mouth, so..

Reaching out to carefully take hold of the man's wrist with both hands, he looked up to his expression, not really knowing what to say either, but he looked scared--and he couldn't just run out on him. That thought never crossed him.. Tugging slightly so he could try and get a better look, he let out a breath, whether the man let him look or not... "I have bandaids," go figure, "And some soap..lets wash everything off," scratches and a bite. Probably didn't feel fantastic, damn cats.

Giving a slight tug, he offered a reassuring, though it was a little nervous, smile and pointed upstairs to where his bag was.
