This place needs a good heated discussion! One heated topic from Shinden's past was the fight between Kaioshin and Piccolo. Who's stronger? I put my money on Kaioshin. It has been stated, but apparently, people like to pick and choose which statements they agree with. I'll elaborate soon.

Give me Kaioshin also. I'll take a statement as clear as day over vague implications any day. |

I'll bite. My thoughts on this are quite simple. Neither side can conclusively say which is stronger. Considering that Piccolo sensing Kaioshin's ki is an impossibility (see original manga/Battle Of Gods), his statement is null and void. From there, it's just a matter of calculated assumptions based on what we know about Piccolo and his potential gains. |

Yeah the "Piccolo can't sense ki" thing kind of ruins a vital statement for Kaioshin believers. The one where Goku says, "That much Piccolo?". I don't think Piccolo even replied, so I'm more inclined to believe Piccolo quit the match due to respect. He feared he was fighting the Grand Kaio, who he could not sense. Maybe he didn't want to be humiliated, or humiliate the Grand Kaio. Moving on though, that is just one point countered for the Kaioshin believers. I think the rest is pretty self explanatory with the Pui Pui / Yakon situation. I'm pretty sure the Daiz even indicates that Yakon > Kaioshin, and Base Goku ~> Yakon. Considering I see no reason for Piccolo to be below these Saiyans, Piccolo >> Kaioshin. |

I'm positive that the Daiz flat out says Yakon > Kaioshin although it's been a long time since I've looked at it. |

The Kaioshin believers can defend this with their "Kaioshin is a wuss" outlook. |

Well here's a question. I Piccolo couldn't sense Ki, then what made him assume Kaio was the Grand Kai? That he knew of Goku? Could have just been a fan. The only way he could reach that assumption is if he could sense. |

I'm willing to bet that it's because he knew who Goku was. And he was levitating. Who else would know about Goku? And by name. Freeza is dead, the Saiyans are dead, and Cell and the rest of the Red Ribbon Army affiliates are dead. Who fits the description of someone like that and has enough knowledge on how to use their power to levitate all the time? |

I doubt that person would be the Grand Kai. Could simply be a fighter that was a fan of when Goku was Budokai champion. |
