Seems that what small amount of similarity it had to BoZ is minimal, which is always a plus and thankfully, it's engine seems to be the same as that of the Raging Blast games. It's graphics also seem to be the fusion of those of Raging Blast and Burst Limit. Needless to say, this small bit of gameplay's already enough to place it well above Ultimate Tenkaichi and Battle of Z.

Most of the recent info show that time travel and making new versions of history is going to be a main part of the game's story, with the possible customised character/oc and the silhouette of the new villain seem to suggest the game's story is a continuation of the DBO ideas.

I believe the engine of this game is different than the Raging Blast series' engine. The engine they're using is smooth, but they're not using it to the absolute maximum. The animations are kind of crappy. The game looks like it's in its alpha stage (which I hope so).

The animation/art style seems to be more of a Burst Limit than Raging Blast, but it's like a mix.

Hope they pull their shit together and create an amazing game, even if it takes an entire year from now.

Considering they're bringing in DBO concepts and even a free roam mode from recent scans, it's story (which is also completely original to an extent btw) at least makes up for whatever flaws it's shown so far.

I think the animations are OK by the standard of most recent DB games, at least. Somewhat better than those featured in RB's beam struggles and such (though they'll have to show a lot more for Ultimate Attacks and such, which is one of the few things BoZ did well).
I seriously doubt they'll take their time with it though, since Namco tend to make each release annual before calling it a day. Most of the demos playable at events such as this for DB games (and Namco games in general such as Naruto's UNS series) have been pretty close to the final product in terms of playability, so until we see anything of the gameplay outside of melee moves and Special Attacks, this is about as well as it'll probably go, unfortunately.
