Not sure if it's a rather popular one although on F it seems to be rather unpopular. My theory was that Birusu based his "Goku and Vegeta having more potential" statement based on who showed the highest power. The theory goes along with the fact that Vegeta somehow regained "Hidden Power" or Potential or Dormant Power whatever you call it after Babidi brought it beyond its limits.
Then got into a discussion with XGoku about Gohan in BOG, I brought up that in the character bios, it states that Gohan has the potential to surpass any Pure Saiyan...which should include Godku and Rageta. I then brought up the dormant power unlocking and beyond quotes and how Vegeta somehow reset his and how that should also apply to Gohan. I then brought up how in the movie it is likely SSJ2 Rageta surpassed Gohan. And Godku surpassed SSJ2 Rageta by quite a fair amount, and I came to the conclusion that the character bio in combination with the resetting potential theory should prove that Birusu based his potential statements on who showed the most power. My theory is that Gohan can still go SSJ but he had to bring his Base form to a point were his SSJ could surpass his "Mystic" self. That would also explain why he still uses his "Mystic" form in BoG but he uses it in GT because by then, he would have made his SSJ or even his Base form strong than his "Mystic" state. |

Subjective. I just don't have the urge to put in the effort anymore. I'm not going to scour through the manga like P and Vic are doing and pick out the most obscure details, no offense to them. I don't have the time nor the incentive to do such a thing at the moment. Maybe if I had a good reason, I guess. |

I don't see how this can be. GT is filler so we don't really need to consider that shit if we're talking in relations to canooononon, and non canoononon. It's simply a mistake by the writers where they wanted Gohan to go SSj just for the only purpose of having that imagery of multiple Super Saiyans to get Goku in SSG mode, but whether or not Pan can go SSj as an unborn baby is another question and plothole that leaves the movie. They simply could have just kept everyone in base or something. |
