Is it too late to register? And if not, pray, when is the submission date? |

I really would like a timeframe. When do you estimate submissions to finish? Will we at least have until the end of the month? |

Question: Our scanner is broke, so we had to get rid of it.....we're not getting a new one in the near future, so I was wondering if I could submit it some other way (snail mail?) to someone or whoever's in charge of compiling this whole thing. Also, do submissions havea to be in color? The drawing I did would look better in B&W than in color. Thank you much.

End date: we'll tell you as soon as we have one. In the summer, most likely. If you have one project that's near completion and doesn't quite make the deadline ... I'm sure we can make allowances.
Pictures can be black and white or color ... however you want them to be published. Do you know anyone with a scanner? I'm not sure about snail mail ... perhaps someone else can answer that one?

You can send it snail mail to me and I can see that it gets scanned in a high-quality format. I not sure that I would recommend it, though, particularly if you'd be sending the original. It'd be terrible if it got lost in the mail. The best solution for a near-future submission would be to take the original to a place like Kinko's, make a photo-quality copy of it, and mail the copy. Alternatively, if you have a good digital camera, you could take a very carefully aligned, high-megapixel picture in strong but soft natural light and email that. Not as good as a scanner, but it'd work in a pinch, I suppose. That might be a good solution to save some time, money, and effort at least initially, 'til it's decided whether or not it'll be included. If it gets included, then we could arrange for a way to obtain a higher-quality copy. Third and simplest solution: Find a friend with a good scanner and visit him/her.

Your paper cut the air above the tundra When you came back in silence and sheets And the neighbors called me up Out of my sleep To watch you unfold the blanket. I had another idea that I'm writing instead.
A little sidenote: you submitters may have noticed it's been taking us awhile to get back to you. Apologies. We're trying to establish a system, and it's taking us awhile. But we haven't forgotten you.

It isn't until Spring Break, which is the first full week of March. We are hoping to get all caught up then. Sorry for the delay.

Sorry ... I wasn't very clear on that. I meant - we will be getting caught up with responding to people over that week. There are subs that have been sitting untouched for awhile. |
