Bonfires dot the rolling hills
Figures dance around and around
To drums that pulse out echoes of darkness
Moving to the pagan sound
...
I can see the lights in the distance
Trembling in the dark cloak of night
Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing
A waltz on All Souls Night

Yes, we are hoping to publish this. More details concerning that will be announced as they are smoothed out.

Any more details?
As three great Jewels they were in form. But not until the End, when Fëanor shall return who perished ere the Sun was made, and sits now in the Halls of Awaiting and comes no more among his kin; not until the Sun passes and the Moon falls, shall it be known of what substance they were made.

I think that sometimes thread necromancy is necessary... ^_^

 I just found a short dragon story that i wrote ages ago for school....

read it : (note I haven't touched it in a few years.. )

Drakale and the Dragon

The king had called to sir Drakale, after the meeting of the Square Knights was over.
Sir Drakale was very humble, for, the closest he had ever been to the king was 50 feet; at the last joust. Expecting praise for beating Sir Armstrong of the French, he was surprised when the king told him that he was sending him on a mission. Sir Drakale was very exited, until he heard he was being sent to kill a dragon that lived up in the mountains, and that He was to leave the next morning.
3 weeks later, sir Drakale came upon the dragon’s dark lair. Charred Bones and plants were strune around the out and inside of the cave. He stepped in “DRAGON!” he called out “SHOW YOUR SELF!” suddenly a burst of flame came from the back of the cave, and sir Drakale was no more. (This was exactly the king’s intention, for Drakale was a bothersome knight)

Old thread it may be, but we still welcome your submissions. :)

It may take awhile for me to get working on this, since I'm working on getting my degree by June, etc., but we'll see how things are working out for me come the fall.

However, in the meantime, please continue submitting!

So this is still going forward? Any ideas on a final deadline?

Talk to me after I've done my wedding and got my degree. ;) At least, wait 'til my degree's done, and then I can concentrate more on this. But I *do* want it to go forward.

I has a question: did I ever submit anything for this anthology? One would think I would have...but I see no evidence that I did.

Nope. You were working on something to submit, I have chats to that effect, but never actually submitted something as far as I can tell. However, I also do not have the password for the gmail account, and can't go check.

EDIT: NVM. I found it. ^_^

This looks fully interesting.. And it also looks like the kick in the butt I need to actually draw a dragon (or two, or three).

Or even write about them, because I can do that too.
